Ward decimates Abraham. Froch squeaks by Johnson. Ward beats Froch fairly easily.

So far two people are predicting an upset with Ward-AA, but nobody gives Johnson the edge even though most people are saying it's gonna be close.

I think the Road Warrior has better chances at getting the upset UD than Abraham does at scoring a hail mary KO.

Ward vs Froch OR Johnson is also a close fight IMO...

Now imagine if both Kessler and Dirrell come back healthy within the end of the year. Bute is also in the picture, maybe even Pavlik too!

I've seen a couple polls/threads where some people see Johnson winning against Froch... it'd be nice if they could give us a couple of reasons why they think Glen is gonna pull it off.

AA will brutally stop Ward in the 1st, then go on to do the same to Johnson (who will by then be known as "Carl Froch's Daddy").

    Ward schools Abraham easy.

Big Daddy Glen Johnson whoops and stops Carl "Im so Slowbra" Froch late.

I agree for the most part. I think Ward doesn;t clinch as much in this fight as he won't have to. He'll keep AA at a distance, don't get me wrong, he'll hug away if he has to, but I don;t see AA being able to pin Ward down, who will be pecking away.
I think Froch will have some dicey moments, and may even touch the canvas, but he will pull out a gut check type win with a close decision, by jabbing away at GJ and utilizing just enough movement on the old man. Johnson will time him, and wade thru Froch's shots to tag him quite a few times, but not enough as Froch pulls it out 114-113, 115-112 or so.

    Ward by UD ..

    Froch by UD ..

Ward should just follow Froch's blueprint use the jab fire off combos when AA covers up or pound that body .

I think Froch does win the majority of the rds but will have some tough spots as some have already mentioned earlier .

Ward - Abraham won't happen. They'll squabble over the venue, Ward will refuse to fight outside of California and they'll eventually call the fight off.

Froch takes Johnson to a fairly easy UD (maybe 9-3) and then batters the son of cod in the final, late stoppage ala Jermaine Taylor :bbb

Bookmark this thread for a few months. Then delete it after the fight because you will feel so confused and neglected after Ward dominates Abraham

I think the body pounding part is more likely for Ward vs the Froch approach. Remember Ward SHOULD have fought Bika on the outside using handspeed to keep the grinder at bay, but... nah. He preferred getting in there, risking the butts on the receiving end and in-fought for the most part.

He SHOULD batter AA from the outside. Watch him try to win this ugly on the inside, though. This guy is almost a masochist, he's going to war and he's happy doing it even though he's got enough talent to dominate in an entire different, safer way. It's not like the guy has a lot of power either, so WTF.

Abrahammers at midrange can hurt. Hurt real bad. Let's just find out if he can dodge all of them, or if he'll use the clinch to neutralize them.
