Would Hennesey sell Froch-Dirrel for what ITV have being paying for their boxing? If not then Hennesey can hardly force ITV to pay him what he considers the fight is worth.

If ITV offer a figure for the Froch fight and Hennesey turns it down then ITV arn't 'obligated' to do anything else.

I know boxing has flaws but surely ESPN would want this as the result is conclusive. It aims to find the best 168 man in the world.

Maybe Sky, ESPN and ITV all want it but not at the price Hennesey thinks is reasonable?

I used to like Mick. He wanted to make things happen and get guys to go the traditional route.

The old Mick would be making the Fury rematch, getting Frochs last fight on TV and selling the Super 6.

He has ****ed up already on Froch v Taylor. Get a channel to buy Froch v Taylor or Super 6 for cheap, get the viewers in and ask for more money when your product is proven.

respect for Hennessy sports falls through the floor whenever Froch fights.Sending Froch to Canada to train, then flying him stateside a few days before, could have all backfired if Froch didn't have the ammo in the 12th. Then it was supposed to be streamed as TV were not interested, then on the day announced it would be on tape delay on itv4 - effectively destroying any revenue from the live stream.

froch is holding henessy sport together - it sure aint murray, witter, fury or thaxton flying the hennessy flag is it...they could at least get the kid on tv for fights

Hennesey would then not own the rights to the Kessler and Abraham fights.

i think that hennesey will have the british rights, sauerland will have scandanavian and german. showtime obviously showing the other fights.

Showtime already have deals in place to show all of the fights in the tournament. They don't own any UK broadcast rights.

im guessing the uk tv companies dont have much faith in froch winning the tournament then.

what was the outcome for all those 'get boxing back on tv' petitions in the end? did any channel get involved?

i can remember moaning about warren putting **** cards on itv, i take it all back now.

    sad times....

trying to do a deal with fat mick must be like trying to sip from a firehose, i hate these unrealistic pee brained "promoters"

ole fish eyes would've been busier then a two-dicked dog at a ***** fest in trying to secure a deal.

I'm a bit gutted that Taylor v Abraham wont be on UK tv, I thought it'd have been great if Sky or someone did a doubleheader.

I am really not happy about this not being sorted out..... Especially after Froch's last 2 fights were so good to watch. I would happily pay to see all of these bouts. In fact I have already booked a ticket for the Froch Dirrell fight in Nottingham on the 17th. May be more difficult for me to afford to go to al of these though :<

I have just set up a page campaigning for getting this on terrestrial TV if you are up for joining it.
