    True.
He was a bit hard on himself, but I can see why he was disappointed.

Jamie just didnt look good..he didnt look all that good against Clenshaw to tell you the truth..or against Sturm, or against Nanakom & Donpradith..or reportedly against Seran or Mashengo.

Im starting to see a pattern here...I just dont think the paid ranks suit him.

The refereeing improved out of sight last night.

I was still disapointed with the fact Johnny Lewis made no mention of the fact the whole reason "the Japanese" (he could have learnt his name by now) was TKO'd was because he was fouled, it should have been a 5 minute rest.

HD boxing just rules, looks soooooo good. I'm really enjoying the fights. Going to watch in Canberra next Wednesday live.

I think the commentating is really poor on Superboxer series thus far.
The camerawork is fairly decent tho.
It being in HD is quality no doubt.

    Great set up last night.
Got in late and caught the Bantomwieghts halfway through and plonked on the couch to watch the rest of the card.

Instantly I was impressed with this production as compared to last weeks.
I was very impressed with the Camera work. Great shots over the boxers, the angles really made for good viewing.
Seing these events in places like Melbounre Town Hall gives this tournament some real cred and brings back venue character into the main. Long live boxing in City Town Halls. would have been great to be on the balcony with a few mates.

Jamie Pittman was hard on himself. He really gave his all and despite not winning by stoppage he put on a punching expo. this was a great display, gotta take into account the roughing and the southpaw orthodox style clash going on. I have only seen one other Pittman fight so I cant draw on to much previous stuff. Fantastic he could do it free to air for everyone to see. I look forward to seeing more of him.

Tim Bell....what a machine....Walter really gave the impression he was walking through a field of daisies occassionally picking the odd flower without a care in the world....pitty he had no stamina and zero defence. Tim was relentless after round 4 and peppered Walter through to the end.
Very impressed with Tim's finish....what a ticker....huge amount of stamina. His fitness must be amongst the elite athletes to have gone 12 rounds using Walter as a punching bag. Would like to know what the punch count was for Tim.

Really enjoyed the card and the presentation....Superboxer is a winner!!!

Agree with most of the points raised in the posts above.

The coverage is far from perfect, but the good thing is it's there for us - long time coming. Commentary is ordinary and Johnny didn't offer much.

Two good wars on last nights card vs only one the previous week.

Geez Belly's got a huge ticker and motor! Just can't picture him with a world title belt strapped around his middle - but I'd love to be wrong on that one.

Thats what i see, his punching technique just looks wrong, he uses every part of his hands to hit with except the most important part..the knuckles, he seems to either slap of uses hammer fists like he is hitting a speed ball.

They will improve each week. Little things like the clock running when the fight was stopped in the HW opener etc are just a matter of fine tuning the production and that will happen over time.

Yeah it was an illegal blow and 5 minutes should have been allowed.

I don;t know if it;s just me but i don;t like hearing Jonny Lewis talk at all.

What was the result of the kariku fight?

Yeah I'm not a big fan of the commentary or Darrell Beattie doing the ring interviews. Would it kill them to get an ex boxer to interview the boxers so at least he'll ask the questions we wanna hear instead of just commenting on how big the guy is. Still, I prefer it to Andy Raymond any day of the week!

Beattie is not much chop but will get better.
What makes this format good (and will get better) is not having over involved try hards with alliances and agenda's pumping themselves and ass licking thier pretend mates AKA, their paymasters.

There's still room for improvement though. The guy who refereed the Quon fight and the main event needs to take a back seat and let the fighters fight. He was getting way too involved with the warnings when the two fights he reffed were good clean fights where the guys were fighting hard and he kept breaking them and warning them (and even deducting points) when it wasnt neccessary. A point deduction could make a big difference in a six round fight.

Well twoohands you obviously dont know how much work goes into the prep before a fight. And to make it as far as luke moloney has is an achievement. maybe you should do some hard training, negotiate with promoters, listen and deal with all the politics and crap that is said about you...then see how much you deserve a shot at a title. I wonder if you have ever put on a pair of boxing gloves and gone head to head with someone in a ring in front of people who think they are 'experts' in boxing...someone like you perhaps. Putting everything on the line to achieve something you have trained so hard for. You make me sick with your childish comment...calling luke moloney a *****...doesnt even make sense! You obviously know nothing about the sport.
