How many current heavies couldnt make 225 the day before a fight? Vitali, Vlauez and Toney. Hell, Wlad might be able to make that. Its only 13lbs lighter than he was vs Iggy. Perhaps a few more.

That division would be beyond ****.

Have guys like Tyson and Holyfield not proved beyond any shadow of a doubt that a 210 fighter can compete with anyone of any size if they are good enough?

    No they have not.

They are light because they are small. Size matters a lot.

How many non-bums did Mike Tyson KO that were 6'3.5'' or taller?
    ONE (of 6)

    And Holyfield?
    ONE (of 8 )

    And Ali?
    TWO (of 5)

    And Wladimir Klitschko?
    TEN

Holyfield would have no chance to KO nowadays better heavies. The same applies to Mike Tyson who couldn't KO anyone but bummy and/or small opponents (except for Lou Savarese).

Even Vitali Klitschko couldn't KO Hoffmann (who is taller than Vitali). It's hard to constantly box upwards AND to KO the taller opponent.

What the hell are you talking about? Holyfield and Ali fought far better fighters than Wlad ever faced and prime versions would beat Wlad H2H with ease. As would Tyson.

Size only matters to a point. Otherwise Valuev would bet the GOAT.

    Aaah, second phase of denial

Phase #1 "What the heck, he dares to compare Wlad with Ali? Ridiculous!"
Phase #2 "Ali fought sooo much better opponents."
Phase #3 "Ali's opponents fought so much better opponents"

Ali fought better fighters? Like whom? Ali dominated his opponents more than Wlad dominates his? Like whom?
I had this discussion already and it is proven by nothing but opinion.

Moreover I never CLAIMED that Klitschko fought better opponents. I just claimed that Holyfield and Tyson KOed only smaller or bummy opponents as is completely proven by their records. Get over it.

there is no need for it. The last thing Boxing needs is more weight divisions.

I would say the last thing boxing needs is another belt.

I agree you'd get at least another 4 belts on the line that would be competed for by about 10-15 fighters, it would be a horrifc division!
