Didn't Chagaev beat the Big Show... I mean Valuev... smackdown is on.... Heres the con of having a superheavyweight division.......

    Another division.... MORE MEANINGLESS BELTS~!!

230+ that takes away practically every heavyweight in the Ring Top 10....

    PROS:

Eddie Chambers will become a world champion......

I would say bump the cruiserweight number up a few pounds... But then again, there are guys that come in at 180's..... However, now thinking on it... James Toney MAY attempt to make weight.... If your a James Toney fan, this is a good idea for Super Heavyweight..

Why not have an ultra-heavyweight division of 300 pounds plus ... ??

Valuev, Butterbean and Toney could fight it out.

Considering all the super-heavies of note in the past decade or two (Bowe, Lewis, Vitali, Wlad, Grant, McCline, Valuev et al) lost to opponents that were shorter and/or lighter than themselves, often by a notable margin, I don't think this view of superheavies having an unfair advantage is justified.

Superheavies have their own problems to deal with due to their size. Movement, coordination, stamina and so on...it's not like being bigger means you have everything superior than a smaller guy.

being in shape is the big one. why the cruiserwieghts are taking up the heavywieght scene is becuase cruisers have to make wieght and train hard...thus making fit and less lathergic fighters.

this is the biggest reason i can guess for.

super heavy's are rarely naturally sized. i think wlad and lennox were the best example of the biggest you can be while being athletic and mobile.

but im rioting if they do create such a division. :nod

has anyone heard of the new wieght divisons coming in!!!!!!!!!!!!

    atomwieght: 96 pounds
    light-cruiser: 185 pounds

240 would be a better limit.

No need for a super heavyweight division. Raising the cruiser limit to 200lbs has done a good enough job.

If your good enough you will succed at heavyweight, nearly every heavweight champion at some point fought a guy heavier its just the way it is.
