We just need to get Kessler's owning of Haussler out of the way. It is a pain.

Once that, and then Taylor-Lacy/Bute-Andrade are done we'll have a clearer picture.

I would like Mikkel to take on whoever looks more impressive, baring in mind Bute is fighting a better opponent.

Inkin vs Zuniga is there and if Froch fights Pascal another good fight. It seems Berrio wants to jump back in the picture, why not fight Miranda, altough they both are colombians and might be friends

Yes, Miranda and Berrio would be a good fight.

Both huge punchers, both bad chins, excitement guaranteed.

It is also the right fight for both, they both lost their biggest fights. The winner would get back in the mix, the loser goes in the scrap as nothing more than a chin checker and gatekeeper.

Not officially. On The Cobra's website on one of his articles he says "expect some big news soon"

    That was 30 August though.

If he is waiting around for Calzaghe to fight him he is a fool, that thing calling Joe about a fight was just a commmercial thing for the fight with Rybacki,Joe will never fight him so he should just damn fight Pascal

I think he has given up on Calzaghe.

Froch will fight anybody I'm sure, its just whether they will entertain him. He seems keen to fight Fruit-Pastille. He even tried to get him when Inkin pulled out.

So where do they talk to do this fight with Pascal, when, any title?

It was supposed to be for the vacant WBC title, with Taylor/Lacy being an eliminator and the winner facing Froch/Pascal. That was when Froch was ranked #1, and Pascal #4. Now Froch is still #1, but Pascal #3 and Taylor #2. I don't think anything has changed with that.

I guess it will go to purse bids again.

Definitely an overlooked division... and it is overlooked since the Roy - Toney fight... European champs took over, the vastly underrated Sven Ottke and Joe Calzaghe, now Danish Kessler and Romanian Bute are ruling, a lot of Canadian, European and Australian fighters are knocking at the doors and the best the US had to offer in the last half dozen years was Byron Mitchell and Jeff Lacy, both ended up badly beaten by Calzaghe. So it's an overlooked division in the US... but not for long...

Tayor can have a good run at 168, There's the underrated Mundine, a lot of elite fighters like Zuniga, Miranda, Bika, Andrade, a LOT of young contenders like Froch, Inkin, Pascal, Ward, Dirrel, Balzsay, Green. Abraham, Pavlik possibly moving up in a year, Hopkins, Jones, Dawson, Winky moving down if the money is right and of course we can't rule out Calzaghe's return. The present and the future is very bright for this great division!

Umm,, Mundine gave up his 168 belt rather than fight Kessler. Ran off to 160 since it won't have much left after Pavlik and Abraham move up. I think you are OVER RATING him. :D

Nah, Mundine is a good fighter. He obviously lacks the courage of his convications since he talks a lot, and maybe doesn't have the confidence but he's fought at a high standard.

If he located the whereabouts of his ballsack for a moment he can compete amongst the second tier of super middles.
