Ward and Dirrell both look extremely quick and very skilled BUT they are really untested against elite level opposition so who knows how they will go in the tournament. It's sink or swim for the both of them.

Sorry but Bika should not be included in this super middle tournament. He is simply not at that level.

I would have him on par with Ward and Dirrell....and hes a spoiler for Taylor and Froch...Kess and AA will beat him.

Fair enough but imo he would lose to everyone who is going to be in the tournament.

Bika will make a good back up fighter if someone pulls out, i'm not sure he deserves to replace any of that 6 tho

what about cumdine? obviously shows no one on the world stage gives a rats about him?!
whilst they are doing this tournament cumdine will move back up to super middle saying none of the top fighters will fight him and gain some second rate belt again!

Hope this one comes to fruition - surely the best single tournament ever held if it does!

Have rated Andre Ward highly for quite a while. Brilliantly prepared along the way by trainer/mentor Virgil Hunter, and not rushed along too quickly. This could be his big step up? Hope he's ready.

    Yerp, me too. :good

The concept sounds good, except the time frame is a too long.

From what I've read, each fight is 12 rounds, but the whole tournament is supposed to be over 2 years. :huh

Well I guess it could be.

    3 rounds with 12 weeks between round 1, 2 and 3

2 semis with 12 weeks between them

Final 4 months from semis.....that takes it out to 19 or 20 months.
