Cheers. With Vasquez coming out recently and saying he wasn't ill and the fight was never a goer due to money I kind of thought then the case was over! Even more so now then.

 

In my experience anything that links sport to money is always dodgy.....some of the transfer deals in football are unfathomable financially...agents leasing players etc.Boxing has always had a bad reputation for this....so if a young prospect starts on the basis that managers and promoters always over promise and may try to rob you blind at least you know what your up against.:twisted:

Frank has put on most of the biggest British fights in the last 30 years and dealt with some of the greatest international boxers like Mike Tyson and you're telling me he can't make a deal with some unknown Mexican who all the American Networks are not interested in showing because he's horrible to watch and whose biggest fight purse in his whole career is something like $50,000.

The simple fact is that his management accepted the fight purse for the original date and then the fighter wanted more money and pulled out but the second rearranged date would have taken place for sure if Burns hadn't jumped ship to fight nobodies with Eddy Hearn.
