Tony's his own worst enemy with the way he talks himself up. The fact is that the guy isn't an uncultured banger any more, because he's reverted to his more cautious amateur style. He picks his spots and takes guys apart.

So, in the light of previous knockabout fights he's had, yep, it was dull. In the context of a euro-level fighter showing a step up in class and navigating it comfortably while getting a stoppage, it was excellent.

Wouldn`t be a night of British boxing without at least one dodgy points decision

Spot on, I think Tony does need to watch how he builds himself up. People especially in this country take promises seriously and if you promise fireworks and come with sparklers people will get p'd off.

But your spot on in light of everything it was excellent win and a good display in parts, Who would you go for next?.

EVERYONE but ONE GUY thought Connor won.

    Guess who?

Bloody refs. Most of them are failed fighters anyway.

Miranda was an interesting test. A good gatekeeper type, out of his best weight class. He was a bit more considered than he used to be though - his jab was giving Bellew some issues - so it was a nice step up without way too much risk.

I'd like to see Bellew in with someone like Murat, just for the comparison with Cleverley. Also, it's a tough style to deal with as a box-puncher, so it would require more body punching: something that was missing tonight.

I don't have a clue why Tony Bellew is wasting his time at 175, he is weak and physically drained at the weight, and medically should not be fighting at the weight. He was a superheavyweight as a amateur..? He may have been abit fat maybe! Butstill this goes to show that Toney Bellew should be fighting at CW.

The 200pound division right about now, is better than 175. It also has the potential to become the 3rd most exciting competitive division on the planet.

J'Leon Love in the ring, music been on for ages. Classy Jimmy Lennon Jnr on the mic..

Mark 'Two Sharp' Johnson on the 3 man team :yep.

Love lost to Valenzuela in Amateur ranks,

    10-9 Love

Fight being fought exclusively in middle of the ring, both looking to lead and counter aggressively with single shots. Love has the edge in speed and seemed more comfortable. Valenzuela may take time to edge into bout after losing via KO last time out. Flabby around middrift as well..
