Good opening round, Ajose straightened his punches occasionally, but his awkwardness is causing exchanges to be a little haphazard. Lucas getting some nice straights into the body. 1-0 Lucas.

 

Round 1) Ajose very busy in the 1st not a lot landing but some are getting through. Lucas as mentioned starting a lot earlier than he normally does. lucas landing the right to the body a lot late on and landed the more cleaner punches. I give it to Lucas, Ajose was very busy but not too much got through.

Round 2) Turning into a phone booth fight now. Lucas got Ajose against the ropes and unloads. Ajose moves off and opens up with the right hand. Lucas bullys him back to the ropes and unloads more. Ajose finds himself cornered and Lucas is really unloading pushing Ajose all over the ring really working the body. Clear round to Lucas. Ajose took some punishment late on again.

Nearly a 10-8 for Lucas! Brutal action there and none of it favouring Ajose. A hard right hand put Ajose onto ***** Street and nearly saw him out of there. 2-0 Lucas.

 

Ajose in trouble here, Matthysse just looks too strong

 

Ajose can't handle the power and activity. And he doesn't have the power to keep Lucas off him.
