The weight was a key issue in the fight, i give Ward zero credit!

All I'll say is I'm genuinely impressed with Andre. He made a statement and the weight just wasn't an issue. We've seen Chad get like this before, particularly against Pascal. This is not unusual for him.

He's always been a little unsteady in the chin, as seen against Adamek, Johnson, and Pascal.

What Ward did went beyond weight - he found angles and positions that allowed him to land while negating Dawson's returns. He did everything Chad did, but he did it better and with more purpose.

So none of this excuse-making bull****. Ward found the answers and did the damage he needed to make Chad wary. And when he got his chance, he battered Dawson until he quit.

    Great performance.

He was getting dropped and wobbled by Andre Ward....

He has fought bigger punches, and he has not been getting dropped and wobbled like that. He look weakened from the get go, i give him zero credit!

If Andre Ward moves up in weight, i think Tony Bellew would spark him out!

Dawson had no life in him tonight, and looked weak as ****ed.

    The weight was a issue.

Froch in Nottingham? Can't see what else there is for him at super middleweight apart from maybe Kessler in Denmark. Fighting abroad would enhance his reputation even more.

From a fans stand point I'd like to see him go to LHW and clean up.

I'd say a fight against Pavlik will be an easy sell for HBO though

Alibis, alibis. He fought the best guy he ever faced, got hit by the sharpest, most correct puncher who's ever hit him, and he got ****ing tooled.

Seems pretty normal process to me. Pascal had him all over the place, but has no technique as a finisher.

I know you're sad, but it's just a fact: at 168, 175 or 200 - Ward beats Dawson. Maybe it goes 12, but Dawson wanted out of there when he sat down at the end of the ninth, because Ward had completely disarmed him.

I think HBO will try and push for a Ward/Golovkin matchup.

Hopkins is the best fighter he has ever faced, Hopkins was still better than Ward when he fought Dawson. He had a weakened man infront of him, and in my opinion did nothing out of this ordinary.

Dawson was ****ed, everybody knows this. Everybody in this forum, even the sky pundits know it.....

Ward disarmed him fairplay, and it's Dawson's own fault for his ******ed decision to come down in weight! It was not a spectral and another boring **** fight.

Really, this is just more alibis. Ward took away every tool Dawson had from the third round. Who else has done that?

And you've certainly changed your opinion on Hopkins.

First of all let me preface this comment by saying that I have been reading boxing forums daily for 12 years.

    Now, on to the comment.

That is the dumbest thing I have ever read on a forum. Congratulations mate.

I wonder if anyone else agrees that Bellew would spark Ward out?

    impressed ward stopped him.

one of the best p4p if we didn't know that already.

should have been a catchweight in truth.

don't see much out there for ward.

he's a bit too tasty for everyone around 168/175.
