Ward did more in his first championship fight than Bute ever did in his entire career, amateur AND professional.

 

It won't be nearly as meaningful 2 years from now when Bute is 34 years old and mulling retirement, Is the obstacles between the promoters that bad to the point what Top Rank and Golden Boy is going through with Mayweather-Pacquiao? for instance I'm pretty sure Pascal team knows Bute is a bigger draw.

 

goldenb and top rank are not in the situation of going bankrupt like ibox or gym ...two youg and still not rich like does two.

THE man is fresh off fighting for and unifying the WBC,WBA and Ring Magazine SMW belts and the S6 title. He's THE MAN, the unified SMW champion of the world... and in achieving all that he BROKE HIS HAND, a fight which took place little over a month ago, how is he in a position to sign any contract at this point?

 

Fair enough didn't know that and that's unfortunate , but I guess what I'm trying to say is what is Bute going to do? he is just too talented not to have more signature fights at this point in his career as he is already in his early 30s here is a scenario suppose Froch decides move up to 175 we all know Froch has interests in going there possibly being a multi division champion and even was open to give Pascal a rematch What if a Ward fight never materializes for whatever reason does is Bute just going to be satisfied as a good boxer with question marks left in his career? like Ottke I'm not saying Bute isn't worthy or anything.

 

Ward refused to fight in his tournament unless he did not have to travel, well..........SOB was the only one who did not have to travel. Ward has had it easy, unlike the others. Ward refused to allow Bute to fight in his personal tournament. Ward does not want to fight Bute, and for good reason.

To be fair this is his first duck. However it's a duck clear as the deylight. He may get his chance for the second duck after Bute fights in April. So it's not like I am "sick" of his "excuses" as it was only one escuse he used (the Paladin Theory). That is only surpassed in stupidity by the "I can't stand needles" excuse.

There's only one serious rival left in the division and one belt left to win. Bute is that guy and Ward should WANT to fight him to erase any debate or question or doubt once and for all over who the man really is.
