Kessler is a prime example who knows how many other cans he would have fought and glossed over that inflated rep but guess what! in comes a quality opponent and boom exposed.

This tourney is makuing guys make quality defenses and is a better gage of who is really talented at 168.

Look at Bute should we respect what he has done? sure! but look at the opponent the worst guy in the super 6 is 3x better than Andrade.

You really believe Taylor would beat Andrade? I disagree.

I agree with you that the Super six is great to rank some of the best fighters in the division, though.

Williams may have fallen but he can still beat a slow moving guy like Andrade.

i agree, but look at it like this. the fact that all these guys have 3 guaranteed major fights means one loss won't mean all that much. in today's boxing reality, if you are andre dirrell and you lose to froch, have fun getting another major fight w/ abraham right after. but in this format, he's guaranteed not one but two more major fights. usually, a loss = losing a **** load of money for the majority of well known fighters b/c you have to take a couple lesser fights to work your way back to get another huge fight. but these guys have that guarantee. i love it.

I agree, and it's not just the quality either - it throws up styles of opposition that promoters would never match their fighter against. That is why we have and are likely to see upsets, imo.
