160 is the best shout imo

Although people who say Martinez are dreaming. You cant have the number 1 in a tourney like this. You need to have that one massive fight for the winner. Like Ward and Bute. The tv company will just operate it like that. Its another big fight they can show and make even more money.

i would like to see:

Pirog
Sturm
Geale

then 3 out of:
Barker
Macklin
Murray
Quillin
Lee
Golovkin

Obviously thats mainly a euro line up but thats all i could think off the top of my head atsch
Ideally you need at least 2 americans or it just wont get the big numbers in the USA


Martinez and chavez are tied up with the WBC so they will have obligations with each other anyway i think. Then you throw in big fights with Pac, Mayweather, Cotto and Alvarez. Those two could be tied up with big money fights for the duration of a tourney.
They are just possiblities of course and if one of them is left standing as number 1 in the division then its a huge fight for the winner of the tourney.

 

yeah as long as the majority are known they can passa few, I dont think many non hardcores knew who Abraham and kessler were and many only knew Froch through the taylor fight.

You can dictate the time frame by lowering the number of fights in the original group phase or by changiong the format. If its over 2 and a half years again then the exact same problems will re-occur
