This tourney is bogus. There is some home cooking going on and I don't like it.

belts don't mean **** all. the winner of the tournament will be regarded number one, and then he'll most likely have to fight bute due to the demand, and then beat him.

allan green isn't winning **** all. actually he could be the next yank to leave the tournament due to getting beat up.

green having 2 guaranteed title shots in this tournament makes me sick...i despise allan green....it should be bika getting those 2 shots and having potential classics with ward and kessler..but anyways the only way green can possibly remain in the tournament is if he manages not only win and unify the wbc-wba supermiddleweight titles in those 2 fights but he has to win them by knockout

The one thing I like about the tournament is that nobody cares about the belts.

personally i don't care, it's not like he's going to win. i like the tournament with the amount of top fights that should happen, but i think the organisation of the whole tournament is very amateurish.

Green was running along the beach and found a bottle. He looked around and didn't see anyone so he opened it. A genie appeared and thanked the man for letting him out. The genie said, "For your kindness I will grant you one wish, but only one."

"What the hell are you?" Green asked, backing away while maintaining his gaze high in the distance.

"I'm a genie," he replied, his voice slightly haughty, "and you, Human, are nothing like I expected. You're a pretty bad boxer ...lost SD against Miranda :patsch"

"A what? Wait, you were expecting me?" Allan stopped walking backward and asked, confused.

"Yes i was thinking you've got no chance against Ward or Kessler so it cross my mind that you'll be opening bottles. Lucky you it was this special bottle"

"You just came out of a bottle and you're not even wearing any clothes! Wait a minute--you just came out of a bottle! How did you do that?"Green asked, beginning to freak out.

"I told you, I'm a genie. Are all humans as dumb as you are?"

Even though he had just seen how he had crept out of the bottle, Allan still felt it necessary to ask him to prove himself.

"Why don't you explain what you are and how you did that?" Allan ventured. "But can you put some clothes on first?"

    Ginnie: "I can't.

"You're a genie, aren't you? Make some magic and make some pants appear from thin air!" Allan waved his hands in demonstration.

"I can only make things happen if you wish for them," he finally replied in irritation, feeling that Allan was making fun of him.

"So could you tell me what you meant by wishes and just how did you come out that bottle?"

"It's very simple, Human. I grant you one wish , you get what your little heart desires and then our arrangement is over," he explained. "And I already told you, I'm a genie. So, what do you want?" he asked impatiently.

Green thought for a minute and said: " I wanna beat Ward via TKO and take his belt "

This is the only way to see a unification fight Green vs Kessler

Allan Green is not the pushover alot of people seem to think he is. He may not win a fight, but I dont think he'll get walked over by anyone in the super 6.

That's incorrect. If Green wins both fights by decision, he will have 4 points. Kessler would have 2 points and the loser of Froch/Abraham would have less than 4 points, ditto for the loser of Ward/Dirrell. If Green simply wins his 2 fights, he advances.

I think he's lucky he doesn't meet big punchers like Froch and Abraham. He might take Ward the distance but considering what happened to Kessler he might get TKO'ed .

I don't think the belts matter that much. The participants would say otherwise of course, but it really doesn't matter to me if the winner of ss6 ends up with one or 2 belts. Kessler had more belts than joe Calzaghe, but it didn't help him beat Calzaghe.

Another problem with the super six is that if results plays out a certain way Green,Froch,Dirrel and kessler could all finish with 2 points. For example:

If Green loses to Ward and beats Kessler.
    Froch loses to Abraham.
    Dirrel loses to Ward.

How are they going to decide who gos through to the final four?

Froch has tiebreaker over Dirrell. Kessler has tiebreaker over Froch. Green has tiebreaker over Kessler.

    Ward is first seed
    Abraham is second seed
    Green is third seed
    Kessler is fourth seed.

Froch and Dirrell don't qualify. Easy.

    Good point. Thanks.

If Dirrel gets knocked out of the super six due to his close loss to Froch it will be funny.

At the end of the day, anyone who wins more fights than they lose will qualify.

And if you lose more fights than you win and don't qualify, you can't really have too many complaints.
