I saw the fight of course, Froch was unmarked, maybe a black eye occured later, but it certainly wasn't swollen.

Fact is, Froch landed more, the heavier hits and most of Kesslers shots were dodged, grazed or blocked, noway can it be 4 rounds in favour of either fighter:patsch

I am not saying this was as big of a robbery as AA/Dirrell or Ward/Kessler, but the scorecards bar 1 were insane and a definate home town cooking.

You are wrong on virtually every point in this post, well done that's quite an achievement.

Kessler won, there was no controversy about it. Stop whining.

A great number of experts and commentators are wrong too then, including current boxers.

Fact, kessler got beaten up pretty bad, but did well and contributed to a very exciting fight in which the victor rightfully should have been Carl ''the cobra'' Froch.

I am not as upset about it as Dirrell and Wards farcical wins, but hey, its a shame the super 6 is being spoiled by fixes.

Anyone else think that if a champion is fighting away from home the belt shouldn't be on the line? Like Froch would never have gone away from home to his opponent's home country to defend his title (not saying he won the fight, but homefield advantage was pretty obvious), Kessler wouldn't have gone away from home to be headbutted to a loss and lose his title etc etc

Kessler won the fight - and therefore the title - fair and sqaure. I agree that 117-111 was too wide, but so what? The right guy won and there was no hometown refereeing in the fight either.

Thank you for proving my point.
    NO SLIP!

He actually caught him twice, the 1st missed, the second connected under the armpit causing Kessler to go backwards and his legs to go, then the jab to the upperbody ( though partially blocked by the arm) proves he didn't slip and went down as the result of an attack by Froch:happy:happy:happy

    Pwned idiot.

so you just pwned youself fool bye bye :hi:
first punch miss. 2nd punch on the outside of the arm. 3th punch on the inside of kesslers right glove. hes of balance all the way.

that clip highlighted what the fight was like too, Kessler moving forward in straight lines, Froch using his reactions and footwork to evade Kesslers attacks, and clubbing him with shots like in the 12sec mark of that video times that by 7 rounds, and Froch won!

So you admit that it wasn't a slip too:happy the onslaught sent Kessler ''off balance'' in the same way a crisp punch can send someone ''off balance''

    Epic pwnage

    fatality

but there was no crisp punches thrown there :bbb
hes ofbalance when he started moving backwards, if your big hero had thrown a punch that hit either the body or the head it would have been counted as a knock down:deal but i guess theres no reasoning with a nuthugger like you.
go on live in your pretend world.
and he would still have lost on points ;)

Maybe some blackening, because he has thin skin around the eyes, and it may even been due to exhaustion, don't forget, Kessler had a flawless training camp and preperation.

Froch had sleepless nights with his pregnant gf, his attention diverted to teh well being of his gf, and a volcano that scuppered the most important part of his preperations.

If anything this fight should have been postponed.
