He couldn't make it to that shoot (or any of the other promotional shoots they did around that time) for some reason. :conf

He never actually left California to promote the tournament, AFAIK..:think

 

How did Ward get out of that?

Others were afraid of being headbutted?

 

Now I am wondering if he has a severe phobia for flying?

Sometimes though... Maybe better not to fight it.

Ritchie Valens and the world would be better off if he hadn't overcome his fear of flying.

But maybe this is Ward's problem?

 

I presume this shoot didn't take place in Oakland, hence Ward's absence.

I wonder how jermain taylor felt being next to his daddy Carl Froch, and his soon to be stepdaddy Arthur Abraham.

 

Looked to me like they were having fun with it, making the best of a weird situation.

 

Yeah, I agree. I thought Abraham was a machine too. Thought he had to be the favorite. Now, I think he's a one dimensional power house, in the wrong weight class.

However, yeah Ward is the biggest surprise for me, followed by Froch.
