    Carl Froch:

    Stamina - 5
    Power - 4
    Handspeed - 3
    Footwork - 3
    Chin - 5
    Skills - 3 (possibly deceptively low, he uses his limited speed and reflexes effectively)

    Andre Dirrell:

    Stamina - 4
    Power - 3
    Handspeed - 5
    Footwork - 2.5
    Chin - 3 (rough guess based on a lot of assuming)
    Skills - 4

    Arthur Abraham:

    Stamina - 4
    Power - 4 (going with a 4 as a conservative rating, assuming the bigger guys at SMW take his shots easier)
    Handspeed - 3
    Footwork - 3
    Chin - 5 (assuming)
    Skills - 3.5

    Jermain Taylor:

    Stamina - 2
    Power - 4
    Handspeed - 4.5
    Footwork - 3
    Chin - 4
    Skills - 4

    Andre Ward:

    Stamina - 4
    Power - 3
    Handspeed - 4.5
    Footwork - 4.5
    Chin - 3 (who knows really)
    Skills - 4

    Mikkel Kessler:
    Stamina - 5 (threw a lot of punches against Andrade, came on strong in the 12th against Calzaghe, giving him the benefit of the doubt here)
    Power - 4
    Handspeed - 4
    Footwork - 4.5
    Chin - 4.5
    Skills - 4

    Something like that roughly.

    So, Totals from top to bottom:

    Kessler = 26
    Ward = 23
    Froch = 23
    Abraham = 22.5
    Taylor = 21.5
    Dirrell = 21.5

    Thats without much thought, so i will see how these ratings convert to head to head matchup outcomes and overall success once the Super Six kicks off.

    I'd say AA has more power than Froch. Also Taylor's Handspeed could be a 5...

    I also think that Froch has more 1 punch power than Dirrell, but Dirrell often throw a combo that makes his punches more effective than a single punch.

    Does AA have SMW power though. We will have to wait and see.

    Yes, that's true, but what I'm expecting is that his power will increase with the extra weight. Miranda said after his fight against AA at 166, that he's never been hit by someone that hard. I believe him. AA has a lot of flaws, but he has definitely the power to KO the other "Super 5".

    AA punch power is a little overrated i think ...at MW he went the distance 6 times with much less talented boxers than he will face now. At SMW i can see him struggling with reach and I don´t think his power will be as good at SMW as it were in MW.

    Taylor doesn´t have as fast hands as Dirrell and Ward thats why i only gave him 4

    Reach is a fair point but power? Have you ever heard that additional weight decreases punching power? He went to the distance with some guys, that's true, but he always managed to win. He never was in the situation where a KO was his only hope. I think his power will be there on Saturday and it will surprize a lot of guys here on ESB. The question is if he has more power, more pop in his punches than Froch or Kessler - imho he has.

    AA has power no doubt about it...i just dont see him as a natural SMW, He looks like a dwarf compared to the other fighters :D But then again Mike Tyson was not very tall. I still can see AA getting outboxed and struggling in this tourney against technical superior fighters who is able to use their reach.

    I don't think that Ward has much of a chin, he's been dropped by lesser opponents ... and he cuts fairly easy.

    Everyone agrees that Taylor has no stamina and that Carl Froch has no hand speed or footwork ...

    I'll give you guys one ... Kessler and Taylor should have 4-5 on their skills ... both guys box well and have good fundamentals ...

    Ward has no chin ...

    Ward has no power ...

    Ward has good skill 3-4

    Froch has overrated power

    Dirrell has speed and skill but lacks great quality footwork and defensive movement ... so that makes his skill rating around 3 - 3.5

    Arbraham has the worst footwork of anyone in the tournament ... he also has equal foot speed to Carl Froch ...

    Ward and Abraham are the weakest links ... the most obvious is Abraham, but Ward (if he doesn't suprise Kessler will be left out ... and might even pull out of the tournament once he takes an L

    A lot is being made of Frochs lack of hand speed here. If you watch the Taylor fight, Froch's handspeed is only (and I quote Bernstein) a smidgen slower. Therefore if Taylor is being rated a 5 Froch can hardly be fairly rated as 1.5

    The only thing that is underrated about Froch is his boxing "ability" ... and that has nothing to do with hand speed or foot speed ... he throws good straight punches ... he has a very good jab ... and a nice right hand ... His defense is somewhat sloppy and he depends on his power and chin too much ... There's no denying it though as ugly as it is to watch him fight, the guy can box a bit.
