The tournament at this point has lost its juice...

Of the canceled matches which one were you looking forward to see?

It's okay because the ones dropping out wouldn't have won it anyway.

its because they take so damn long in between fights... i know someones gonna come on here calling me an ******* for not respecting "recovery time" and **** but come on, this tournament should have been over already.

Dirrell and Ward were fighting over who gets the fight on their home turf, so Dirrell pulled out.

Look, they tried something new. And you know what? It is a great idea. Maybe it didn't work this first time, but that's not to say that it won't the next. We still got some interesting matches out of it, and sure, some of them didn't live up to expectations but at least we got to see them and judge based on the merits of the fight and not some hypothetical. Yeah, Dirrell/Froch was crap (and a robbery), but we still got a chance to see it. And in this boxing day and age where compelling fights are few and far between I appreciate Showtime for at least trying.
