Run on the same lines as the European Football Championships -

    Group A

    Jim Jeffries
    Jack Johnson
    Jack Dempsey
    Gene Tunney

    Group B

    Joe Louis
    Rocky Marciano
    Sonny Liston
    Muhammad Ali

    Group C

    Joe Frazier
    Lennox Lewis
    Larry Holmes
    Mike Tyson

    Group D

    George Foreman
    Evander Holyfield
    Vitali Klitschko
    Wladimir Klitschko *

Klitschkos relationship is immaterial. They fight each other like they would anyone else.

Quarter final 1 - Winner of Group A meets runner up of Group B
Quarter final 2 - Winner of Group B meets runner up of Group A
Quarter final 3 - Winner of Group C meets runner up of group D
Quarter final 4 - Winner of Group D meets runner up of Group C

Semi-final 1 - Winner of fight one meets winner of fight 3.
Semii-final 2 - Winner of fight two meets winner of fight 4.

Three points for a win. One for a draw.

If two fighters are level on points, the one with more knockouts goes ahead. If they're still level after that, then a head to head issue resolves it.

    Fifteen rounds.
