i was at the fight and had 3 tickets for the fight at the t section at the arena. alot of seats were empty and when broner came out me and my boys went to seat with some ex ball player ruben patterson and some other dude. so i ended up with ring side seats and i acted a damn ****** at the fight ( no pun intended).esobedo's manager was cussing me out because i said why yall throw in the town.then when im fighting with dude hbo crew come over or some dude telling me to watch my mouth but the other dude was cussing at me.so we argued until i felt like i got enough attention, then i got pics with jim lampley and roy jones jr. jim cool though, i dont like his commentary sometimes but he was cool in the hood. but naw it was light in there it was empty seats every where. i thought some people aint show because he missed weight because the rumor was the fight was canceled. good crowd but not a packed house at all.

 

he is still building that fan base. But TV rating matter more than butts in the seats. How many people do you think were at the event? You think the people that were there enjoyed it enough to go to his next fight?

What you call charisma most people call being a ignorant *******. The talent he definately has. Canelo has a better suited personality for the masses. He is also very talented, regardless of your naive opinion. Making millions at 21 isn't just because of a novelty. He is destined to be the next big star, you will see.

oh they loved the fight, but i thought they was talking about butts in the seats like sale out the area. i aint know they was talking about tv rating though. but yea everyone looked like they had a great time. i wish i lived in a city were fights happend all the time.

 

Nah, 3.4% of HBO subscribers (28.4 million total) watched, so more like 1 million TVs. That's still pretty solid for boxing in the US, and is about twice as many as watched, say, Calzaghe-Kessler.
