Keep in mind, I only recognize the Ring as the true champ. Anyone else is just a beltholder.

As much as I hate the 4 ABC-belt system (+Ring) that has plagued boxing over the last few years, I stopped to think. What fighters have unified all 4 belts (and the Ring belt), at least in a symbolic sense? I came up with four super undisputed world champs:

won WBC, WBA, IBF, WBO, & Ring

    1. Naseem Hamed (he was stripped a couple times but never lost them in the ring until after he won each belt, so I consider that unified)
    2. Bernard Hopkins (after beating DLH for the WBO)
    3. Jermain Taylor (after beating Hopkins the first time; the WBA and IBF have since been stripped)
    4. Joe Calzaghe (although he was stripped of the IBF, he didn't lose it)

    Anyone else?

I think Hamed wasn't Ring champion, because The Ring didn't give belts during the 90s (actually, since 1988 until 2002).

Also, current fighters that are close.

Juan Diaz (must beat David Diaz and Casamayor)
David Haye (must beat Cunningham and Maccarinelli)
Kelly Pavlik (must beat Abraham and Sturm)

Yeah, but he was technically Ring champ since Barrera was recognized for beating Hamed when the belt was awarded.

Sorry, only B-Hop belongs on that list. He is the only one to hold all 5 belts at once. As a result, he was the first and onlyt Super Undisputed World Champion.

    Fair enough.

For someone like Lennox Lewis, this is not so fair...because the WBO was absolutely meaningless when he became Undisputed (and later he also was given the Ring belt).

I agree with you Asterion, which is why I consider this a new era.

    Man I hate these belts.

I tend to ignore the bull**** ABC belts. The Lineal title is everything. Most of the times (95%), the Ring belt is also the Lineal title.

AGREED...FLOYD HAS THE WBC AND RING BELT....THE IBF HE GAVE UP...THE WBO WAS WON BY BALDOMIR BUT HE DIDNT PAY THE SANCTIONING FEES...FLOYD NEEDS TO BEAT WILLIAMS FOR THE WBA...IF BALDOMIR HAD PAID THE SANCTION FEES THAN FLOYD WOULD HOLD THE WBC WBO AND IBF PLUS THE RING...WBA IS WILLIAMS FAIR AND SQUARE HOWEVER

Tszyu never held the WBO title - But who cares.

4/5 is good enough when Demarcus Coley was the WBO holder while Tszyu was in power.

It helps if you ignore the WBO
