Super6: Why didn't Ward fought any undefeated opponents like everyone else?

    Forget about how he didn't fight away while everyone had to travel. Think about this:

    Kessler - goes and fight undefeated Ward in his backyard.
    Froch - fights undefeated Dirrell.
    Dirrell - fights undefeated Froch and Abraham.
    Taylor - fights undefeated Abraham

    Abraham,even if he didn't fought undefeated opponents in Super6 he has beaten undefeated tough opponents like Miranda or Demers.

    Meanwhile, in Oakland, Sven Warddke is fighting leftovers and bums.

    Is Warddke unable to beat undefeated opponents? Why else did he duck Bute right after super6 ???

    how does any opponent being undefeated change anything?
    ward was on nobody's radar before that tournament - he went in and beat all the top contenders in the space of two years....and became the undisputed, legitimate SMW champion

    bute was a paper belt holder who hadn't beaten anyone. when he did, froch exposed him (exposed is an over-used term on this forum, but bute got exposed)

    just because bute had 'a' belt, doesn't make him a legitimate contender pre-super six, and I doubt we'll hear of him again at SMW

    fighters should be remembered for who they fought and when

    you sir are an idiot. Bute beaten Bika,who fought Warddke in Super6, then he beaten Johnson, who was in super6 semifinal. So you can consider Bute as good as any of the super6 finalists prior to the Froch fight.

    bute beat 2 replacement fighters...doesn't change the fact he was a paper champ who got exposed by froch and that was the last we ever heard of him at SMW

    he was a flavor of the week, nothing more

    indeed,just like Warddke did, and he made it to the finals with that. And now he's fighting drunks anf mummies. Warddke is all what is wrong with boxing!

    this was not the question sir, and it's you who are obvious trolling. why Warddke did not fight an undefeated fighter like everyone else? simple question, give me a simple answer!

    no one gave ward a chance to win the tournament. everyone and their mama was picking froch, kessler or abraham to win. ward drew the toughest opponent in the first round. he proved he was the best. stop crying about it.

    I can't forget that bro but Ward travelled at the begining of his career in St Lucia ('07) and then in the Cayman Islands in '08. Sven Ottke travelled once in Austria which makes Ward a real "road warrior" :yep:lol: !

    IMO Ward should return the favor to Kesssler and fight him in Denmark cuz Kess went in Ward's backyard and fight him when Ward was an unknown prospect.

    Then should fight Froch in UK or if not in Monte Carlo !     :yep
