How about this for a new sport: "Fly-swatting", wherein you take one unarmed 7' 300lb roided up behemoth and put him in an enclosed arena where he must hunt down and strangle the life from half a dozen little fellas in the 105-115lb range, all wielding tiny nunchuks.
I don't see what the whorehouse in Westworld has to do with anything. But say, there ain't much of a rind on you...
I love watching the lower weight classes and Estrada is always in a good fight. I was in attendance for Superfly 1 and that was a great show. Estrada vs. Cuadras was as good as it gets; action, adjustments, skill, heart. I'm not going to make the card tomorrow, but will watch on HBO.
I love that it took an hour and a half before somebody made the first serious comment about the actual card/weigh-in.
Anybody see Estrada getting upset tomorrow @Russell @CST80 @IntentionalButt He's giving up a couple inches in reach and a few inches in height to Orucuta who has a good KO record and took Omar Navarez to two very close decisions in Argentina? Granted those fights were 4 & 5 years ago, and Orucuta is on the wrong side of 30 now, but you never know.
If this were estrada's first fight at 115 maybe i'll put it at 50/50 but he beat a legit 115 champ and got a close decision loss against the number 1 in this division so yeah i think he' ll be fine.
You don't have to watch or think about it if you really don't want it. Different taste for different people. Spare yourself the hassle of wondering why the lower weights exists.
Alright take mine for example. In my country we don't really have a luxury of guys for higher weight divisions and personally i found some guys from the higher weights to move really slow unlike the lower weights where guys move really fast as they are lighter. Some hardcore boxing fans probably watch the lower weights also as a respect to boxing not just to certain group of weight classes. To your second question in boxing people get to fight their own size, they will hit each other, you can't have a heavyweight fight a minimumweight as the big guy might kill the little guy. As for football anyone can probably play even a 6'8 turd but question is can he keep up? Does he have enough agility and mobility? Can he make quick turns with his size? The main goal is to score on a opponent's net not to beat each other up and you don't need height and size to score.
