Props to Golovkin, he is top of his game and top of the middleweight division.

Secretary-General of the British Council for Boxing Control (BBBoC) Robert Smith said that his organization refused to issue a professional boxer's license to the former captain of the England national football team, Rio Ferdinand, not because of his fame.

"We received a statement and examined it," Smith quoted the BBC. - We take into account many factors. He never competed [in boxing], only he trained in the gym. But there is a difference between the gym and the ring. We decided that obtaining a license would not benefit him, or boxing. "

Former world champion Richie Woodhall, who trained Rio Ferdinand, noted that from the outset he doubted that BBBoC would issue his license to his ward. "I warned that this would be the biggest problem," Woodhall said. - He began to train at 38 years old, without any boxing experience. But I'm very disappointed. He could have been good at boxing professionals, I do not doubt it. It is a pity that none of the British Council for Control of Box did not come to the gym to look at his training and sparring - they would immediately give him a license. "

I'm now convinced more than ever that one of the Charlo brothers can beat Golovkin. Right now I favor Jermall Charlo to beat him.

I rly want to see Jermall fight G as well. But he ought to fight Jacobs while G finishes business with Canelo/Saunders/Derevy. Jermall as good as KO artist he is failed to do the same to an Austin Trout who Hurd finished. And only chance he possesses against Golovkin is his KO power. At this point I see Jermall winning chances through a KO higher against Golovkin compared to an UD.
