I want to see what USYK do next. Doubt he will move up. And that means that repeat of super-middle will be next.

Vorobiev gave him a beating in round 9!, Ponomarev did well to stay up during that round.

It´s official: super middleweights Vincent Feigenbutz and Toni Kraft clash in the headliner of a Sauerland Event show on September 15 in Friedrichshafen. There will be a title or two at stake in this all-German matchup but which titles are up for grabs in not clear yet. Kraft holds the IBF Euro title while Feigenbutz holds the IBF and GBU Intercontinental titles.

On October 20 at the Las Vegas gala, another professional duel will be the holder of the regular WBA mediumweight belt weight Ryota Murata (14-1, 11 KO). The rival of the Japanese will probably be Jason Quigley (14-0, 11 KO).

The 32-year-old Murata World Boxing Association belt won in October last year, and for the first time defended it in April, winning by technical knockout with Emanuele Blandamura. For 27-year-old Quigley it will be the first fight for the championship title.

The Irishman last boxed in March, when he returned to the ring after a year break. The winner of the Murata fight - Quigley will have to face Rob Brant, who was appointed the official contender for the regular WBA trophy.

Former world champion Sergio Martinez (51-3-2, 28 KO) took the next step towards returning to the ring. The Argentinian submitted an application to restore his boxing license, and his request was accepted by the national union.

Information about a possible return to the Martinez ring has been appearing for several weeks. The network even includes a short recording from the training room, on which the 43-year-old works on his form. The last professional fight "Maravilla" fought in June 2014.

If Martinez actually decides to return between the ropes, the most likely scenario seems to be his rematch with Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. The Argentinian won against the Mexican in September 2012, but the subject of their possible second leg was already touched on several occasions.

The Real Deal Boxing and Lee Baxter Promotions regret to announce that the Jose Sulaiman WBC World Invitational Tournament, scheduled to take place this Saturday, August 25th in Toronto, Canada, has been postponed due to visa issues.

“We were forced to make the very difficult decision today to postpone the event due to learning that, despite our best efforts, several of the tournament’s international fighters would not be granted visas to enter Canada.”, explained Eric Bentley, COO of The Real Deal Boxing.

“We look forward to announcing the date and location of the rescheduled event in the coming weeks and we sincerely thank the boxing fans of Toronto for their support and their understanding of what was a necessary but very difficult decision for The Real Deal Boxing and our partners at Lee Baxter Promotions to make, especially considering the support the city has shown the event.”

The rescheduled date and location for the semi-final round of the Jose Sulaiman WBC World Invitational Tournament will be announced shortly.

“While we worked tirelessly to resolve the issue down to the last possible minute, and we could have made arrangements to move forward with revised tournament bouts, it was very important to us that the 4 semi-finalists, Van Heerden, Lawson, Solomon and Santana, not lose the opportunity they rightfully earned by winning in the quarter-finals due to issues out of their control.”
