I remember how hyped the Euros were when the super six was announced lol. Abraham or Kessler would win it easily. Ward had no chance. Both Dirrell and Ward would be koed easily.

Now its whine whine whine. Bitches.

Ward and Dirrell were considered longshots to win the tourney. Any hindsight conspiracy theory is just that.

Andre stepped up as an underdog. He didn't "know my limitations" and settle for the scraps of the division. He faced the betting odds #1 and #2 in the tourney, then took out Froch in the final.

Andre's ambition to prove himself against the best in the world made Andre.

The Americans werent expected to do well in the super 6 let alone win it. Everyone had either Kesler or Abraham.

Exactly, what people forget is that the opening round of the of Super Six was designed to have the three Americans fail with fight they were favored to lose, Ward turned the tables on them and they haven't stopped looking for reasons to complain since.....

In hindsight, yes. When the draw was announced and the very green Ward started with Kessler followed by Abraham, most people predicted two losses for him.

I went to the Ward/AA fight, and the crowd was largely Armenian. The only difference between LA and Germany was that AA was allowed to get hit in the body. I like AA, but that drives me nuts.

Ward's opening round fight was against Kessler who was favored to win the whole tournament, **** some people thought Kessler was going to do full on sweep....so how did Ward have it the easiest again?

Ward is the best just at 168 and not easily even there.Reasons:

1.He ducked Bute after the tournament and put a shoulder at pushing him in England. He is very reluctant to go in England. He would accept only a stadium and the payday of his life.Who are those who accused Bute is a home fighter?

2.You don`t know anything about 175.Beating Dawson at 168 means nothing.A catthweight would have been more relevant.

3.At 160 he mentioned Chavez. No Martinez, No Geale, no GGG.Think about it.

This is probably the strangest thread I have read in a while . . . not sure if the TS is Butthurt or what. All I know is that Ward is the best man by far at 168 (and I am a Bute fan . . . now a fan of Ward as well because I have been defending him against mindless hate).

Ward beat everyone he has faced in the S6 with ease and is the second best fighter on the planet. He is clearly the best fighter between 160-175 and if you think anyone has a chance in those divisions outside of perhaps the cagey old bhop you need to get your head examined.

Maybe Ward should move up to LHW to fight Bute, just to remove any doubt that he'd beat Bute.

What if Ward went down to 160 to fight Martinez?

He was the only one who had all his fights in his home town expect for the final which was still in his home country.

He was allowed to get away with some really dirty tactics in the kessler fight and was never really warned for it, let alone penalised. The headbutts where pretty obviously intentional.

He fought kessler and then allen green (probably the weakest guy in the super six) and then got a forfeit win.

Which ever way you look at it ward had the easiest way into the semi's.

you're just another American who is living in some deluded bubble that exists in your head. aren't you? do you want to know why that is the case?

because if it didn't matter where the fight takes place and there is no advantage as you say, then why is this clearly contradicted by the fact that Ward was the only one who didn't travel?

why is he a special case? give a good reason as to why he's so special when he's done absolutely nothing at that point in time but the more proven fighters had to travel?

did his mummy write in with a sick note telling the mean and nasty head honcho's that her little soldier must not travel because it would damage his health?

also, Ward claimed he wouldn't enter the competition if he didn't get to fight all his fights at home. the evidence is in the 360 show that they did for Showtime.

so get it right next time. it's getting really boring having to read the constant **** from forum members from your country. :tired

i think they had a pretty good idea about the chances of Ward if they Knew he would cheat to get the wins just like Americans always do to traveling fighters. it looked like a set up to me.

America is desperate for new stars. they would do anything within their power to make them. by hook, or by crook.
