    Has anybody mentioned SRL?

The guy is a very cool guy outside the ring and away from the camera.

I haven't read the thread, but there's only a few who genuinely strike me like that. Manny Pac, Holyfield and Kelly Pavlik, Shane. Not Ricky and not Cotto.

A fighter who was very humble when i meet him is terry marsh i feel the man doesnt get the credit his achiements warrented he was a world class fighter. I personally think he would of had a good chance against hatton with his speed and acute tactical boxing awareness. I meet him in laindon train station in essex england and i found him articulate and found he possessed a obivous advanced level of interlect. But he still found the time to discuss the finer workings of pugilism with me as tennager and give some advice that i have internerlised to this day. He said the secret to success in life is just going for something with insane intension and not accepting no setbacks untill youve acheived it

Ah, interesting. I remember that big scandal when he was accused of shooting Frank. I was discussing this with my dad the other day and he reckons he definitely got away with that one. I don't know to be honest. I heard he tried to be tory counciller.

Im not trying to start a riot on this board but in general caucasian fighters project the most dignified personas in the sport. The attitudes of athletes like mayweather and mike tyson make me think that there should be a ban on boxers if they dont have the correct conduct outside the ring. I feel that a proffesinal sportman should set a good example to the youth otherwise the pull towards athletic success with the young will be counter productve to soictey if they imitate the attitudes of people like mayweather and nutters like herbi hide.

Yes i didnt ask marsh about the shooting you just dont do you. All i can say in his excellent autobiogrphy if you read beetween the lines he sort of admits it. Frank warren has got a bad name in british sport i even disscussed the alleged incident involving marsh with a police officer and he said that he deserved it.
