    Fine write up Gained.

Yep, when I mention Ali fought so many 'Who's' back in that 'weak' era.
I was there, and by dam it was as weak as now....nearly. One did have Lyle.
Where is the Lyle of today, able to punch with the best Puncher and out box the best boxer....now he is the underrated man.
Lyle Foreman was a grand fight....and Lyle was up on points after 10 or 11 when Ali KO'ed him.

Just wait a few decades and the tarnish of the Bass era today will turn into Gold. The quick skilled fast hard punching boxers of today....walk all over the lumbering hulks of tomorrow.

Two Genaration's from now, would Wlad or Vitilie beat the real big super Heavies of today. Or if they were a few inches taller and thirty pounds heavier would they stand a chance.
The Klitcho's are only point guard in size, they wouldn't stand a chance vs the regular seven foot 300 fit Super Heavy Champs of today.

Basically what needs to happen is a young good fightet (with no fluke) needs to beat Pacquiao or Mayweather.

Think how big Pacquiao and Mayweather became once they beat another superstar in Oscar Dela HOya

Floyd Mayweather is a fiction. He's Kim Kardashian. Ultimately. The guy has never performed like a superstar on the big stage. He's won, and he's been better than his opponents, but he's never approached superstar status in terms of his showcases. On the big stage. Funny to see his name in any list. I don't bag on Floyd like this but he's a ****ing phony when it comes down to it. The best there is, but no superstar. That's a ****ing joke. For real. 24/7 is a good show. All I can say.

IMO this is NOT a good article.

The author evaluates the sport of boxing only from a narrow american perspective.

    Globally seen, boxing is rising.
