I am at 190 now and would like to lose about 40 lbs to get back to my fighting weight and need as much help as i can get. Any suggestions?
Yep, in the end you simply need to consume fewer calories than you use in a day. Some things you can do foodwise, that will help keep you from feeling like you are starved are Casein Protein and Oatmeal. Casein you can have after meals to help keep your stomach full and prevent hunger pains. Oatmeal, you should only eat early in the day.. Eat lots of veggies to sub your carbs.. Veggies like Broccoli are great.
Fruit is fine and should be eaten in moderation. In the end, you need to eat fewer calories in a day than you use.. Not good to lose more than a pound, or two pounds a week, or to totally starve yourself.
