hey guys just wondering if you would rather get your nutrition naturally or via supplements.

what do you guys think about supplements?

    What do you take?

i have just bought cyclone and thermobol to cut down on my weight whilst maintaining energy. hoping to be fighting fit by the new year.

I prefer to get everything I need from the food I eat. I occasionally take a multi-vitamin.

no not fat burners, thermobol burns fat, cyclone gives u enough protein to repair your muscles but also gives you creatine to supply the PC - R system to give you more energy, i find that toning to quickly takes too much out of my body and i feel very tired, so thought i would give cyclone a go, seems to be working so far but that could just be psychological.

When did people stop eating and start getting their food from shakes and pill bottles? Did I miss when this fad happened? And when is it going to be over?

What's wrong with just eating a balanced diet?

i do eat a balanced diet, alot of athletes use supplements, im only tryin to lose a few pounds as i have been injured, and thought that it would be interested in seeing what it does for me.

im getting to think this is not a fad as it has been goin on for years and years and will most prob carry on.

perhaps supplements can successfully be implemented into a healthy diet. ricky hatton has been known for using supplements such as cyclone.

Not really. Do you honestly believe taking that pill will burn more calories than you sprinting down a road?

    Eat meat like everyone else.

Losing body fat is not a fast process, it takes time and dedication.

i am dedicated i train like an animal but i was overtraining and my body broke, i broke four bones in my hand and am only just healing.

i eat plenty of meat but eating to much meat can make you lethargic as it is very hard to break down and therfore requires more energy to digest. do you honestly think that i would just have the thermobol and not work out, i am trying the supplements with a good routine.

i know exactly how hard and long a process it is to stay in optimum condition i have been doin it for the last 10 years

If you are injured and can't work out as much, all you need to do is cut back on how much you eat. Your body won't require as many calories.

no i understand about cutting back but im just starting back up again after a couple of months, and if i cut my calories i lose alot of energy which stops me from training hard enough to get back to the level i want to be at. which is why i wanted to see if using a thermobol to cut, but maintaining energy through eatin my complex carbs and taking cyclone.

i use whey protein, casein protein, glutamine, arginine, bcaa, and multivitamins.

i think i just made myself look like a drug freak but hey i dont like eating that much not to mention its alot faster than actually cooking =)

bcaa and glutamine do miracles for muscle recovery =)

casein protein and arginine helps me sleep like a baby at night =)

you should try maximuscle cyclone it is very good it helps you to achieve lean muscle whilst allowing muscles to repair and supplies higher level of phopshocreatine for very good energy, really notice the difference.

haha you seem addicted to supplement, oh well if it is giving you the right balance then maybe you have got everything in a equilibrium.

i tend to notice the difference more when i use supplements for about 4 months and then have a few weeks break to let my body get back to its natural level.

the thermobol that i am on keeps me up til all hours so thats not too good im trying to work myself into the ground training so i cant stay awake when i go 2 bed

you are wasting your money with these maximuscle products, they are ordinary products nothing special, they have names like 'cyclone' or 'promax' they are very very overpriced becauase of their advertising and packages, look at www.mprotein.co.uk

If I was you I would stick with a good protein shake that contains at least 30 grams of protein and less than 5 grams of fat in each serving, a couple good ones are Mega MRP and Metrix, there both good tasting and contain everything you need in a supplement IMO.

I tried everything over the past 7 years, there are only a couple supplements that actually helped me in the weight room, none of which contained NO2, that **** doesnt nothing for you besides making your wallet less heavy. Workout hard and make sure you get enough protien in your diet and you should be fine.
