If he makes it to the big unbeaten 50,who out of the current crop has any chance of topping it??

Looking for fighters here who have already reached 20 plus wins with an un-blemished record.

    All weight classes welcome.

Maybe someone posting here knows of a gem who's been off the radar but has promise.

That accomplishment will mean very little in the grand scheme of things.

    No Margarito, no Williams.

Floyd will go down as a great fighter, but he needs Pacquiao on that record of his because Pacquiao has continued to be a p4p top boxer in his era. People can talk about Margarito and williams but I think as history goes on people will talk less highly about Margarito and williams on the grand scheme of things regarding Floyds Legacy.

If Mayweather doesn't fight Pacquiao that will be 3 top fighters he batantly did not do everything in his power to make the fight happen.

    Paul Williams
    Antonio Margarito
    Manny Pacquiao

What do these guys have in common? They throw a lot of punches?

I think most people can agree that 50-0 is cool to look at but it doesn't mean much once you take a closer look at the opposition. I'm just getting into watching boxing again but it seems like there are quite a few dudes out there with padded 20/30-0 records (ex. the Thai boxing circuit). It doesn't mean any of them are that good considering they got a bunch of those wins from dudes that have only been in the ring (professionally) a half dozen times. I seem to think that people don't really start fighting hard opposition until about 20-0 in the heavy weights, 30-0 in the middle weights, and close to 40-0 in the lighter weights. Someone like GGG looks good (and I'm a huge fan) but he's still just knocking down losers. It's a shame that people are going to wait for him to get up in age before they give a guy like him a real test. I'm super happy about the eastern European/soviet block guys that just have the old school "fight whoever is toughest" mentality.

He already is an ATG, if not the GOAT, regardless of who he fights.

Roman Gonzalez will easily if he doesn't fight Inoue. Mikey Garcia has a good record and is young to compile a decent record. Although he'll have to get back in the ring first and probably not jump up divisions. Wanheng Menayothin is another. GGG could but I think a Ward fight will come before he has 40 fights and I cannot see him winning that. Ward himself would easily break 50-0 if he had a great work ethic and boxed his áss off

And I guess you didn't understand the answers. If you dodge competition then any boxer out there that currently has a perfect record has a shot at topping 50-0.
