A fighter like JMM would'nt give a rats ass......but Marquez is not safety first. Marquez is a skilled assasin but who also takes some chances.

Mayweather is a defensive specialist, I'm certain he thinks that way at the bargaining table as well.
.......if there is even a slight chance that Pacquiao can endure what Mayweather dishes out and outlast him, Mayweather is not going to go for that.


From a boxing fans point of view, I'd welcome for Mayweather to just say "**** it, forget about any of the drug testing, I'm going to beat his ass anyways."

He just beatdown a pretty good brawler who outweighed him by nearly 20 lbs......took alot of clean hard shots in the process as well......he did'nt do it all through sheer boxing brilliance either........and yet whats being asked of Mayweather is to close his eyes on the matter and disregard what may be a physical roid freak that enters th ring against him.

Certainly if there's even the slightest chance you can lose, you want to prevent it being against a drug cheat if you can help it.

Fact is you don't know when he started or stopped, and there is no way you can prove he has not used peds for most of his career. The fact that Shane knew how to mask his ped use, put a shadow on his whole career. Not only was he a ped user he was a professional ped user.

If it was me and i knew i was clean and it had been implied that I was on PED's i'd make the biggest effort possible to prove my innocence.

No the suspicion comes from the fact that Manny won't agree to random testing. Where the accusations come from is irrelevant at this point, if they are just crazy rambling from the Mayweather camp- call thier bluff and prove them wrong. There is no good reason for a clean athlete to refuse to submit to random drug testing.
