Not until Mayweather considers him as an opponent.

Not really. Martinez is an older fighter, but he is a late beginner. His body has far fewer miles on it than most fighters his age. He is also a very athletic guy. His fighting style is less reliant on being at the right place at the right time not overwhelming guys. He is a Pure Boxer not a Boxer Puncher like Pac. To top it off that KO had less to do with power than it did with perfect technique on his part and an extremely leaky defense on Williams'.

Seriously, I appreciate you being analytical about this, but honestly the arguments you are presenting are almost as if you understand nothing about boxing but Wins, Losses, and Knock Outs. Different styles have different pros/cons and consequences.

The point of Boxing, much like any other fight, is WINNING not doing so in a specific way. Anyone that tells you different has NEVER been in front of another man intent on hurting them.

Not knocking PI, but you give the justice system and populace in the Philippines far too much credit. Pac was linked to an assasination attempt and he is still a national hero.

so what exactly are you caliming. Is Pac taking EPO or HGH?

I thought the suspicion was about Pac's rise up the weight classes and his power. This implicates HGH.

But maybe he's taking both? He's probably mixing in a little blow, and some coffee as well.

Ariza is an evil genius. I don't know how he manages to hide it all in these protein shakes. Ariza's knowledge of the underground PED market in General Santos city in the Philippines is uncanny.

You keep attempting to be analytical then funny, but it just comes off silly.

Most PEDs are mixed. The whole BALCO scandal was MIXING. The steroid for muscle recovery. The EPO for cardio capacity.

Who knows. BALCO hid it in an oil like substance. So a pre/post workout massage could be administering a drug. A shake could be the same. We just don't know.

All we can do is test. If he is willing to? Mayweather has no excuse not to fight. If he passes? Mayweather has no excuses not to win. Any other outcome means Mayweather is scared and/or not the better fighter.

you've outdone yourself! Are you saying Pacquiao tried to assassinate someone? Who? The president of the Philippines, that nice lady?

Is the evidence for this about as good as the evidence that he's taking HGH, EPO, etc. -- or is it about the same?

Is Floyd Mayweather Sr. the source of the assassination allegations?

Sorry, I was being sarcastic. I have a hard time believing Ariza, the certified moron Koncz, and the disabled Roach, are able to secure, conceal, and administer designer steroids to a fighter that spends half his time in LA, as a congressman in the Philippines and is under near 24 hour surveillance by camera crews, fans, media, etc.

Do you think Ariza, a guy who is essentially a nutritionist, knows about the complexities of anabolic steroids and how he's to get it in and out of Pacs system in 14 or 7 days? Does he learn from reading the internet?

Or does he have bigger fish involved? Balco? Who?

And nobody is talking? not even for a $50,000 paycheck from the Star to say "I saw Manny take steroids?"

Is there any evidence for any of this? Any positive evidence other than "****, that little guy hits hard!"?

And, by the way, if this fight ever does happen, I'm going to root for Mayweather! I prefer his style!

.....and your premise is that Pacquiao should be let to use his PED's so that at least there is a chance Pacquiao can compete with Mayweather.

My stance is that Pacquiao on PED's gets thorougly outboxed by Mayweather just as JMM did twice to Pacquiao.......
.....but on that PED route, certainly against a Pacquiao that does not tire, there's always a chance Pacquiao catches Mayweather wanting a second wind, and thats Pacquiao's small window of opportunity to capitalize.

I understand where Mayweather is coming with this.....remember, he's a safety first fighter. Thats how he fights, safety first.

.....which is where Mayweather is at now at the negotiating table. Like he fights in the ring, he negotiates as well, safety first.
Mayweather is unwilling to give Pacquiao even the smallest of windows for him to take advantage.

With full random testing, Mayweather knows he's closed all the windows on Pacquiao and he can then completely and thoroughly dominate him without any reservations on his mind.:bbb:bbb:bbb:bbb

Its like buying into a 100 ticket raffle and you know you have over 95 of the tickets.......theres that very small chance that one of the other 5 wins the raffle.
......but if you take those 5 tickets away and bring them to yourself, 100% you're going to win that raffle.:bbb

Let me paraphrase your answer. You think Floyd beats Pac 95% of the time if Pac is on PEDS. But he beats him 100% if he's not on PEDs. That's how I interpret your raffle analogy.

Is this rational, though? All for a mere 5%? Because in not fighting Pac, Floyd has ceded the pound-for-pound #1 to Pac. He's also ceded his spot as the generations greatest fighter. Finally, he's jeopardized his entire legacy because most of the media has now sided with Pac on the matter and Floyd is regularly called a coward.

Come on man. Roach, Pac, and Ariza are the only people I would think are possibly directly involved. Maybe even Buboy (highly doubtful) Like any lawyer, Arum and Koncz just protect their client's best interests.

Pac under 24 hour surveilance? Now you are being silly. Name EVERY person Pac's entourage? You can't. What are your Senators names and where were they last week? You don't know.

Who do you think provides this stuff? Nutritionists and wash out athletes. Athletes are too busy working.

Who knows. Who cares. That is beyond the scope of Boxing and for law enforcement to find out in the event of a positive test result. Is your line of reasoning "solve the crime first THEN we can test"? If so that is silly.

Why would they. If you were a drug dealer, unless you were busted, it would not be a good business move to rat on clients. Also, $50k would probably be chump change.

Does there need to be? See the fourth paragraph. Tests are all that are asked to make this fight happen. If Pac wants it to...

I did. I found lots of links from boxing websites and one from the Manilla bulletin. I quote:

"This, after rumors surfaced that one of the two vehicles seized by the authorities from the five arrested suspects are registered under the name of Pacquiao's wife, Jinky. Several campaign stickers of Pacquiao were also recovered from the vans."

    and:

"The police rushed to the area and accosted the suspects who are now incarcerated at the Glan Police precinct. The suspects were identified as Freddie Mendez, Ronald Elorde, Alfredo Macabacyao, Jimmy Mier, and Renante Bangkas."

Freddie Mendez? You don't suppose it's an alias?

Seriously, though, it's a Banana Republic down there, maybe Jinky was up to some high-jinks and shenanigans!

Remind what the relevance of this is, again? Oh forget it.

I might now Google Alfredo Macabacyao for fun.

You can't be serious can you? Especially attempting to intelligently debate.

You do know that the Philippines is a former Spanish colony? Also that the name comes from King Philip of Spain? So Spanish names are quite common. Or did you think names like that came from Latin America?

    [ame]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philippines[/ame]

This is the hilarity of talking with you guys. Nothing makes sense because you have no world knowledge to evaluate the information you are given. I guess that is what makes me a "*****" and you guys *******s.
