Not As Tough As Some May think.... Dzinzurik will be very game but does some stuff that falls right into Paul's style

From what I've seen of Dzinziruk lately, he hasn't looked very impressive. Williams should beat him clearly (wide decision or mid-late TKO), but you never know

Goosen is constructing a pretty decent card here. The two proposed bouts are Williams/Dzinziruk and Arreola/Maskaev.

As for the fight under discussion, I want to look a bit more at the Ukrainian before making a firm prediction, but I have a strong presumption for Williams lately. He's going to have to show a lot on film to make me contravene that.

I think Paul will beat him easily but I could be wrong though.

dont sleep on this guy... he's pretty solid... decent speed, ok power, good work rate..... but he is very available to be hit and shouldnt really challenge pw when fighting inside
    :good

yeah i think if pw can get this win it will really put him in a beautiful position to do something special after... if he wins this there is really nobody left for him as far as being an actual "lesser fight that you prove yourself" between 147-160

which means the only guys he should face after are like...

cotto-mosley-berto-clottey-pavlik-bhop and guys like that anything else would be a step backwards

I see Williams causing MAJOR problems for anyone from 147 to 160, his size and style is a nightmare, he's also tough, busy and showed good power and improvements lately.

To beat guys like Caballero and Williams, you need a gameplan and the ability to execute it perfectly, but if you figure the style out, you can find success as Quintana produced a LEGIT win. It all comes down to dealing with the size and style. Dzinziruk is a fine powerful lefty counterpuncher, knocked down and outpointed a very good Daniel Santos, and performs better vs. the better opposition. It's just almost impossible to tell whether he'll be able to figure out the Williams puzzle, most likely not. It's a very good fight.

Good fight for Williams, going after the top guys at 154. I think at the moment that is his ideal weight and I think it's well within his ability to unify the division. I'd pick him to beat Dzinziruk by comfortable UD. This fight should open up bigger and better fights. Perhaps finally he will get the respect and fights he deserves when he beats Dzinziruk.

I'll take him wherever he can get the decent fights. This is especially true given the dearth of legitimate contenders willing to square up to him.

For a guy who never seen Dzinziruk you sure are confident.

I wouldn't be as confident, Dzinziruk is a very, VERY good boxer.

    Dzinziruk by shocking UD.

man.... someone always got something to say....

im watching dzindziruk vs santos on my laptop for like the 10th time...

+ he see's punches very well
    + he counters very well
    + great jab
+ he see's openings VERY well
    - he doesnt enough power to stop pw from blizting him
    - he waits too much
    - he is there too be hit
    - likes to come forward (a bad thing against paul)
    - doesnt seem to be an inside fighter (a bad thing against paul)
    - body is exposed (bad thing against paul)
