Tyson would always be able to exploit the right hand opening that Holmes left open but the Tyson right finishes him. A younger Holmes may have been more willing to trade like he did with Norton. Tyson is a bad match-up for any version of Holmes IMO

Holmes fought like crap against Spinks whom fought like **** himself.
Holmes looked nothing impressive against no one I saw including Cooney , Norton (watched only a small part) and Shavers.
Tyson would have surely stopped him in 1986 as well.
I also think he would have done so prime for prime.

Holmes, at his best, beats Tyson. As far as '86 Holmes, Tyson wins by late stoppage
    or decision.

Holmes is so ****ing overrated, no version of Holmes has a chance against a 86-96 Tyson

That highlight video to me shows, that no matter what version of Holmes Tyson fought, it would be the same result....KO for Tyson

Do you seriously think that a 1996 Tyson beats a prime version of Holmes ?? Well, each to their own.
