Exactly. The whole point in boxing is to cash out with the biggest money making fights possible, usually a marketable showdown with the champion. Arreola and Haye are assured of those big money fights with Vlad as long as they don't tarnish their reputations by losing. It would be a bad move for Haye and Arreola to fight each other at this point. Haye and Arreola should take tune up fights for the rest of 2009 while Vlad bumps off Chagaev and Povetkin.
Haye vs Arreola for a shot at the winner of Wlad-Chagaev ??? what happens to Povetkin? who will he fight in October?,,,,seems that everybody gets shafted with Haye's injury.
To be honest i agree, these are boh fighters who have to prove themselves, want a title shot and havemn't a hope in hell of getting one anytime shortly the only thing is, is if valuev was to knock out Haye then surely this would be the end for him
No doubt, after watching Evander beat him they must have realized that his time is up and now they will bleed that belt as long as they can.
Sounds good to me. Haye's going to KO Arreola if it happens and will become HBO's next young HW hypejob, replacing Chris Arreola's current position. I could see this fight being a world title eliminator.
Valuev is Haye's best shot at winning a HW title right now. I could see David Haye winning the fight against Valuev but he'd have to earn it through eliminators and wins over contenders.
