FFS I said Floyd won and at best it was a draw. You're giving no credit to Maidana it was a close but clear win for Floyd but some people 150 odd think Maidana won on the poll here. Maybe because Floyd didn't win comfortably as people thought he would but you a guy who has NFI about boxing and think Danny Green threw the Tarver fight are putting sh*t on people who thought MM won.:patsch
FFS you thought Geale-Mayweather was going to happen and you're calling people trolls.

and yet half your post is full of trolling yet again.

basically u know I'm right, but u just want to be a ****wit as usual.

u using a stupid poll to prove a point u dingaling? talk about getting desperate.

lets be homest u troll, they r either maidana fans or pacman fans that hate Floyd. but that would be too obvious wouldn't it u dummy.

giving credit to maidana doesn't mean he should have won. he's just lucky Floyd was under pressure not to make it a boring fight to the general fans.

FFS I said Floyd won and at best could be a draw. Floyd landed 230 out of 426 punches thrown. Maidana 221 out of 858 thrown I don't think it is that unusual people thinking Maidana won as he was the busier fighter and landed only 9 less punches than Floyd.
You make it sound as though Floyd won with ease and people who thought Maidana won are morons. It was a close fight.

Floyd was rather flat for the whole fight , never totally dominated any round even the late rounds he seemed to let Maidana back in to it . If Maidana had'nt slowed up after the 5th round Floyd woulda had a real problem pulling rounds back - he seems to fight these days with the style of turning each round into a safety first centre of the ring chess match , Maidana unlocked that style for the first 5 rounds here and looking at Floyds face between rounds showed he was'nt comfortable with it.

Floyd used every trick in the book to win this fight and i think the original poster must have a poster of Lil Floyd on his bedroom wall or knows very little about the sport if he can't see or even acknowledge there was a genuine shout of a draw or a Midana win from his camp after such a terrific effort . Personally i thought Floyd just shaded it but couldn't have argued a robbery if El Chino had prevailed .

Did anyone else see the similarities to the tactics Hopkins uses in his fights these days being employed by Mayweather in this fight ? ie use of the forearm and constant bitching to the ref at every opportunity ? it came as no surprise to me to see Hopkins in there straight at final bells tolling to start all the " By nine rounds baby " bollocks

I thought maidana had a great gameplan, throw first, shorten the distance quickly, make floyd defensive and work between the body and head, body shots early I think took a bit out of floyd, it was only after maidana dropped the pressure and stopped shortening the distance that floyd was able to potshot him, maidana stopped getting off first, stayed at a great distance for floyd to potshot him but most importantly maidana stopped the body shots, you cannot box when your under frenzied attack, floyd rode out the storm and I think it was very lucky for him maidana ran out of steam when he did

Yes it was a frantic pace set initially by El Chino and it was always going to be a big ask for him to carry it on and win the required first seven straight off the bat his plan imo was to secure the first five , take a breather and reinstate the pace around 8-10 rounds in attempt to grab one there and one in the championship rounds , Can't understand the scorecard lobbed at the end was the same as the Canelo fight the two fights were chalk and cheese .

Totally different fights, alverez didn't get a look in in my opinion, that was a shutout, maidana was a closer fight, I scored it a bit different to most, I had maidana winning 1-3-11 and 12 with 2 and 4 very close but gave them to mayweather due to how clean his shots were, I also think maidana did a tremendous job at getting into floyds head and making him second guess himself

I think Robert Garcia deserves a fair amount of credit here. He gave Maidana the plan to do what pretty much no one has done to Mayweather. He certainly knows how to get the best out of his fighters.

I loved Miadanas confidence and the ambition he showed in rushing out in an attempt to give Floyd the good news instead of the cautious attitude Canelo showed , would i like to see it again ? yea sure but Floyd will win bigger next time the size of gloves won't have anything to do with it either , Floyd struggles with these type of fighters ( Remember Chico in their first fight ) ? he rematched him and the second was a breeze for lil Floyd and i expect the return with Miadana to return a similar result . as for Khan v Money May ? Nah Floyd ain't no Luis Callazo and Floyd will just out box Khan because BOXING is his business .

Agreed he has turned the Maidana of the Khan fight into a different fighter Maidana used to get frustrated if he was banging on without any joy , now he keeps at the task .

He told maidana to brawl because there was no way in hell he would ever beat floyd boxing, Saul must have thought he had boxing skills to go with floyd, what was wrong with his corner, blowing smoke up his ass, never box a boxer

Agree but now Floyd knows what to expect next fight hope he has another trick up his sleeve or Floyd will win easier. Assuming their is a rematch.
