    After Davis pulled out of UFC133 and with Machida still having no fight scheduled, this would seem the logical next step, no? :think

    No, Davis would get killed. Frankly, I think that the Rashad fight was too much for him at this stage as well. Davis isn't Jones. He needs more time to develop.

    Phil Davis would get destroyed. Davis had enough trouble taking Little Nog good luck getting within rage on in close enough to take down Machida something other very strong guys like Couture and Ortiz could not do. At striking rage Machida would light him up with punches, kicks and knees and likely knock him out in the 2nd or 3rd round.
