Surely the haters & doubters are convinced by Pac's granite chin & elite skills now?

Fair enough mate. Last night was a great performance though. I'd like to see Pac-Floyd or Floyd-Mosley or Pac-Mosley. Three HOF stars in the one division, it's going to be a good 2010!

Even if you predicted the fight correctly, Pacman still had to execute the victory (which is alot harder done then said). Just think about the victory and im sure you'l come to your senses.

I also predicted Pac to win by KO. But my prediction was based on Pac's strengths more than Cotto's weaknesses. At welterweight, I don't think Cotto has a problem with speed. Judah is tricky for anyone (inc Floyd), and Cotto knocked him out. Mosley is a top-level fighter with brilliant handspeed, and Cotto dealt with it and beat him. But Pac isn't a welterweight, he is a phenomenon.

I think I've been unfairly labled a hater over the past year, when a more appropriate label would have been a "doubter". However, isn't that just a testament to just how good Manny Pacquiao is. What some fail to realise, and this why we get threads like this after a Manny victory...Pacquiao isn't supposed to be doing this. That's why it's such a talking point and unique to this one fighter, Featherweights aren't supposed to go up to Welterweight and brutalize a big strong dude like Miguel Cotto. It ain't supposed to go down like that.

People who pick against Pacquiao don't necessarily have an agenda against him, they aren't necessarily haters, they just look at the whole picture. Okay, on one hand Manny Pacquiao gets wobbled by a left hand from a predominantly right handed fighter in Marquez. This wasn't twoo long ago, that fight happened in 07 down at Super Featherweight. So give me one good reason why I should expect Manny to take Cotto's best shots up two divisions? If I expected Manny to beat Oscar, Hatton, and Cotto, he wouldn't be getting nearly as much respect from me as he currently is.

I concede that Manny Pacquiao doesn't have overrated handspeed. He's blindly fast, I just think he looks sloppy and disorganized in there at times, but that's misleading, because he wouldn't have been beating Cotto to punch otherwise. Indeed, Pacquiao took a lot of shots in this fight too, evidenced by his badly swollen face in the post fight interview with Brian Kenny, but the guy was pushing Cotto back, making him retreat, and that's huge. Make no mistake, this was competitive early on, but Pacquiao ended up thoroughly dominating.

I now think Juan Manuel Marquez would get thoroughly beaten by Manny up at 140-147, but I still maintain that Mosley and Mayweather are just bad style match-ups for Pacquiao. As it stands, I have no issues with anyone considering Manny Pacquiao a top 30 All-time great, and he's surely leapfrogged Hopkins as being the greatest fighter of the decade.

As for Cotto, whatever he decided to do is his business, but I thank him for giving us a competitive war which we all hoped for early on, but he was just in against a buzzsaw. He knew it, and he conceded the great fight Manny had fought by calling him one of the best fighters he'd ever fought, which I hope got lost in translation, and he actually said, Pacquiao "is" the best fighter I ever fought.

I love this sport, it's tough though...tough to watch, even.
