Surprise: Roach parts ways w/ Moorer

hardly a surprise. moorer is a really moody ****

 

Moorer seems difficult to get along with.

 

You could sense the tension whenever Moorer was trying to give advise to manny leading up to the Hatton fight. Roach didn't look like he enjoyed the experience. He always seemed uncomfortable dissaproving of moorer stepping in like that.

However, it was moorer's advise that got Manny the knock out against Hatton. If you watch the 24/7 or whatever it was for the fight, in one of them I remember seeing moorer had taken pacquiao away from everyone else. He then proceded to work on throwing short, tight left hook, as a counter to Hattons looping right. He worked with him throwing it real quick on the inside. He worked it to perfection and dropped Hatton like a bad habit.

Then again, this would not have been the first time he had been asked to perform this counter against a brawler. Just thought it was interesting how much emphasis Moorer was puttin on this, which goes to show that he does have the intelligence to be a descent trainer or helper. After all, Roach will require a good helper very soon with his parkinsons and all.

 

Moorer clearly has a huge ego and the mental fortitude of a 13 year old. Let's face it, he's bordering on ******ed. I can't believe Roach let him near his fighters to begin with.
