A scenic boxing page has Boente´s version of the story and it reveals, that its not the 50/50 split they wanted. Worth to read. Booth is exposed as a liar once again.

Sauerland told Haye/Booth they might make more money on german broadcaster ARD (Sauerlands channel) then on RTL (Klitschko channel). So Booth and Haye demanded from Klitschko the difference of the TV money they would get when the fight would be on ARD. Completely bogus. That means in the end Klitschko should pay Sauerlands demands on Haye...because Sauerland loses money if the Haye fight is not on ARD....can be up to a million....

Booth and Boente already spoke about this on Sky Sports before the Harrison fight, Booth said if another German TV network such as ARD came in with an offer higher than that of RTL, then would they agree that ARD show the fight as it would maximise revenue. Boente - perhaps begrudgingly - said yes. Now he's backtracking and saying that they have a contract with RTL to honour. And he said that any extra money offered by ARD won't be a lot more than 300-400k Euro's, which he called a pittance. If it's a 'pittance', they should just pay the difference and get over another stupid stumbling block.

The Klits have nothing to do with ARD. They are tied to RTL TV contract. Booth again trying to bang for the buck. What an arsehole

At that time they thought with the Chisora fight the RTL connection would be over. Which is not now after Klitschko-Chisora didnt happen. Booth knew that and came up with the 50/50 story to bull**** you Brits once again. they knew Klitschko fights on RTL like Haye on Sky.

See above. Boente did agree on Sky Sports on a live chat with Booth that if ARD offered more money, they would look to do a deal with them and make the most money possible. Considering he's admitted that it would only be €300-400,000 more, then if they can't do a deal with RTL to break their contract, then they might aswell just pay the difference.

Obviously a one sided cry to the media is not going to be completely on the level. Its like when manny's team came out and unilaterally said they had agreed to all of team mayweather's demands....what they actually meant was we've got this offer take it or leave it....oh by the way we'll do full drug testing but not 7 days prior to the fight.

Boente denies that on the scene. ARD is Sauerland's pocket. Not theirs. This is from Boente
