Started on Monday and adjourned on Wednesday (I think) with a postponement due to a "conflict of interest" on the UKAD panel. http://www.bbc.com/sport/boxing/39903265 Reacting thereto, the BBBofC says that it could take a "long time" to finally resolve the Fury's situation. http://www.skysports.com/boxing/new...rn-to-boxing-after-ukad-hearing-was-adjourned Query: [1] Did someone uncover a Fury "plant" on the UKAD panel? and [2] Why isn't the Fury's hyper-litigious promoter not suing anyone to get this resolved? Its always a circus with the Furys.
This is getting ridiculous now. Fury was caught over 2 years ago, with additions of another positive test (coke) and a refusal of a test last year, and this is still dragging along. I have some serious doubts about UKAD's competence in handeling high profile doping cases.
Well, you were correct a couple of days ago when you wrote that Tyson Fury won't be fighting in September. The BBBofC gen sec described this as a "complex case", when he reacted to the postponement. But, on the surface it seems basic. Anyway, I find this conflict-of-interest development intriguing.
I do not see what the point is in a "hearing" at this point which is 2 years after a failed test, surely all of the evidence is out there and there has been sufficient time to make a decision on this. The delay in making a decision, is both harming Tyson Fury and harming the reputation of UKAD. Make a decision. Most drug bans for boxers are 2 years maximum anyway and they apply from the point of the fighters last fight or the failed test. In both cases Fury is going to be fine. Make a decision you prats and put this farce to bed. Tyson Fury is great for boxing when he actually fights and is not skewering opponents over by pulling out with fake injuries.
They paid someone off... what else could conflict of interest imply? Like how could someone be related to him and be on that specific UKAD panel w/o knowing it till now? Thus it's gotta be something nefarious imo.
