I see plenty of Morales/Garcia threads, but I'll be shocked if this one doesn't steal the show. Has Kirkland ever been in a boring fight? No. And Molina is no slouch. Should be be very, very interesting.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to it. I'm not really sure what to expect though. Kirkland is a huge puncher with relentless punch output and I don't think there's any fighter in the world who you'd rule out a stoppage against. Kirkland's aggression and power means he's a threat to anyone. However, he seems to have a terrible chin and there's a strong possibility he could be stopped, even though Molina isn't a big puncher. There's also the possibility that Molina fights cautiously, doesn't commit to his shots and ends up either winning on points due to his class or Kirkland wins on points due to his workrate.

Very interesting fight. There's no scenario which I can't envisage.

If I had to pick a result, I'd go with Kirkland in about 8 rounds. It should be very good though.

I have a nagging feeling that Molina's gonna expose James tonight.

I see Molina as the superior boxer. He fought great against Lara, who is a class above Kirkland (technically) and he seems to be an intelligent boxer who can apply a fight plan. He's also very good against Southpaws. I think he'll circle to his left and throw left hooks to the body with a good workrate in the early rounds, making it difficult for Kirkland to load up on his shot. Once he'll have figured out Kirkland or when he'll get frustrated, I see Molina throwing more right uppercut and finding James's chin. Molina is a good counterpuncher and Kirkland often throws wildly.

The problem is : Kirkland can KO anybody at 154.

    Great fight, I'm pumped.

I really think Kirkland is going to destroy him, I expect a monster performance.....I can't really explain why I just think Kirland is a confidence boxer!

Because the winner has practically no chance of getting Canelo?
Not being sarcastic. This should be an opportunity for the winner to at least be in the frame but probably won't be.

This is a semi-final eliminator bout. The winner has to fight Martirosyan in another eliminator in order to get a shot at Canelo.
