Just an FYI - please keep the submissions coming, and thanks to all who have already made submissions.

I will definitely be prolonging the deadline for this one. Pushing it back at least until mid-January. But no later than Feb 1.

The level of hipster here makes me proud! Is this one really that good, mate? I've only ever watched one Tokuyama fight and it was absolutely dreadful, vs Penalosa.

Is it some great slugfest, performance or chess-match?

Slugfest, performance, significant unification and significant politically in the region. Why not watch the fight? U saw one fight and it was bad so you assume this one has no value? Guess I wouldn't think much of hokyfield if I had only seen his fight with valuev.

    Okay, cool. I'll watch.
Uhm, no that's what I meant. Tokuyama has a notoriously boring and negative style, and I've seen a fight which proves that. If you had only seen Ruiz-Johnson or Akimwande-Lewis, would you want to watch more or Ruiz or Henry? I certainly wouldn't.

I thought about this and decided NOT to list mine in any specific order. I do this because the rules stipulate that the lists be numbered (as opposed to grouped) which blows away my initial plan of dividing these fights into ones that are historically significant, others that involve two ATG's at their peak, and those I simply enjoy watching as a fan. I decided just to list 25 fights I would put into a time capsule for fans a century from now when boxing has finally finished devolving and there's nothing left to see, though Bukkake's great-grandson will insist those are great times reflecting a true apex of technique and competitive parity.

    That said, here you go:

    1. Bobby Chacon - Bazooka Limon 4
    2. Bobby Chacon - Cornelius Boza-Edwards 2
    3. Israel Vasquez-Rafael Marquez 3
    4. Erik Morales - Marco Antonio Barrera 1
    5. Salvador Sanchez- Wilfredo Gomez
    6. Salvador Sanchez- Azumah Nelson
    7. Joe Louis - Max Schmeling 2
    8. Joe Frazier - Muhammad Ali 1
    9. Ray Robinson - Jake Lamotta 6
    10. Matthew Saad Muhammad- Yaqui Lopez 2
    11. Michael Spinks - Larry Holmes 1
    12. Kid Gavilan - Gil Turner
    13. Michael Spinks - Dwight Qawi
    14. Tony Canzoneri - Kid Chocolate 1
    15. Ray Leonard - Thomas Hearns 1
    16. Lionel Rose - Fighting Harada
    17. Marvin Hagler - Thomas Hearns
    18. Eder Jofre - Jose Medel 1
