And on that note, I don't think I specifically mentioned here - but yes, you can continue editing/re-arranging right up until the deadline. I just ask that everyone keep your lists in the same post. (ie - keep the edits in post #16 in your case, etc).
does # 3 mean that amateur fights are not allowed? And that only professional fights are considered? And that you have done this from the outset and are not changing the rules as you go along??? Sorry...
yeah, I am not a huge HW fan, but I think I will even have 1 and there are quite a few others I will consider...still not a fan of HW’s but there are still some great HW fights out there.
I could easily and I mean easily have all 25 fights as HW slug fests, tactical battles and destructions
IMO way to many great fights out there to have more than a couple from HW. Also just my opinion but the skill and action and pace from the lighter guys where “a very good” fight is fought at a level that HW’s can’t achieve...again we all have opinions and that makes the world and this forum go around. on the flip side I could do a top 50 list and legitimately not have more than 2 HW fights lol
Yeah but the power of the heavyweights, the blunt force trauma, the knowledge that at any second a punch can render someone unconscious. The other divisions don't come close imo.
My current top 50 has the sum total of 3 heavyweight fights and two of them are at 47 and 50 respectively, so yeah, completely with you on this, Philly!
Reducing the list to 25 is going to be tough, but ordering them is going to be even tougher. No doubt it will be fun though
I hear you, but in fairness Rumsfeld isn't really asking for the "best fights" per se. This is going to be hard for me.
