wow, I can't imagine him being quite that high. Actually, I don't think I've ever seen him any higher than 7 before. Like I said though, I'm not well educated on flyweights. If you say he should be no less than 3, it holds a lot more than me placing him at 11.
There's been at least ten in this thread who have him that high lol And please don't put too much stock in my opinions, or anyone elses. If you think he's the eleventh, then go with it. Everyone's only human lol, and I'm wrong at an alarming frequency. I know about 5% when it comes to the lower weights compared to some of these guys.
I meant officially. Normally I would say everyone should form their own opinion, but I have not watched enough flyweights to have an opinion on the matter. You obviously know a lot about them, so I'll take your word for things until I'm educated enough to make up my own mind.
As a quick guide you can look at the year end rankings in boxrec, compare them with the guys Canto faced when he faced them. Also watch a couple of his fights. He's one of the most well rounded boxers in history imo.
Fair enough, each to their own. I'm actually writing an article on Canto, although it won't be up for awhile. I think he's a top 3 Mexican.
I have watched Canto a little bit, but have all of his filmed fights marked down on my list to watch.
I did a lot of learning while participating in this thread. It was a grand educational experience for me.
