I decided to do a COMPLETE list, despite what I mentioned earlier regarding the 'little fellas.'
I have to admit to much consultation with Boxrec for the first two divisions and parts of the third.

 

@Rumsfeld needs to commit to doing this every 10 years for the next century or so and we can call it the BoxingForum24 Census.

 

most of these lists are excellent. But, Roy Jones should not just be rated at Light Heavyweight. He was arguably at his best at middleweight. He comfortably beat Hopkins at that weight, and, would likely decimate many of the middleweights listed above.

 

I had RJJ on my list at 175. Why do you think he should not be rated?

 

I’m so excited to see @Rumsfeld ranked me in his personal all-time top 15. And has me listed as champ.

It isn't that I don't think Jones should be rated at Light Heavy. Most lists had him rated appropriately at that weight. I just think he should have been rated at middleweight, as well. He was a force of nature at middleweight. He was less dominant at L.H.

 

Part of the reason I don’t like mythical matches is that Jones would never have been a middleweight in previous eras.
