I'm not sure I'm understanding that right, but Mercer did not knock out or even fight Fedor. He knocked out hugely obese ex-UFC washout Tim Sylvia.

I like Wlad I think he is sorely underrated as he has fought the most varied assortment of heavies in their absolute prime in recent memory and has dominated the field but you're reaching on the punchers list.

Jameel McCline is an average puncher. Michael Grant may have busted his ankle in their fight and Grant was a fraud anyway. I will say this he is over 6'6 260lbs and was known to be on the juice, that combination usually adds up to someone that can punch a little.
Same thing for Wach. Giant man, on juice. However no noteworthy names on his ledger.
Rahmen and Mercer both punchers: both well past it. 90s left overs.
    Wolfgramm really?
    Bostice?
In no order these are the best punchers Wlad has faced.
    Haye
    Peter 2x
    Povetkin
    Sanders
    Brewster 2x

Williamson may make that list too. He was unorthodox but had some pop. If Wach steps up in class and adds a few noteworthy names I would include him but I don't think he will.

McCline had Peter down numerous times.

Whether Wlad's left hook in round 12 sapped Peter's durability away for good, not sure.

Quite possible. Vitali stopped him. Wlad in rematch stopped him. Mccline as you said put him down. Helenius destroyed him. Peter went down hill quick. Sometimes it happens.

Three times.Couldn't hit him hard enough to keep him there could he?

McCline is not a top level puncher, he has average pop.
Here is the first Peter v Wlad fight

"Klitschko survives three knockdowns, edges Peter
    By Dan Rafael, ESPN.com, September 24, 2005
ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. -- Wladimir Klitschko's chin betrayed him yet again, but this time his stamina didn't.
Klitschko, despite suffering three knockdowns before 10,137 on Saturday night at Boardwalk Hall, survived to outlast Samuel Peter and win a unanimous decision.
The 12-round verdict might not have restored Klitschko -- getting knocked down three times won't do that -- but winning the heavyweight title elimination bout earned him mandatory challenger status for the titles held by Chris Byrd and Lamon Brewster.
The victory didn't come without a serious struggle against the heavily hyped Peter (24-1).
The 24-year-old self-proclaimed "Nigerian Nightmare," had caught a big buzz in the boxing world with his string of exciting knockouts, but against Klitschko he was taking a big step up in competition.
He chased Klitschko (45-3) for most of the fight, looking to land one big shot. And he did just that three times, knocking Klitschko down twice in the fifth round and again in the 10th.
But Klitschko, whose weak chin and lack of stamina were exposed in stunning upset knockout loss to Corrie Sanders and Brewster, was able to survive."

Three times Peter landed, three times Wlad went down.

Peter was stopped by the three best punchers he faced, his chin is overated by you.

Wlad was hit more than three times in that fight. It was actually one of his best performances. It's also a decent fight to watch. Unlike some of his "stinkers" The first knockdown he suffered in round 5 was from one of the worst most blatant rabbit punches you'll see. It clearly rattled Wlad and led to the second kd in the round. The kd in round ten was legit and I remember watching thinking this is it, I thought Wlad was going to lose. Here is a good recap of the fight.

    This is utter rubbish!

Watch the fight. Peter landed much more than that, and two of those knockdowns were clear rabbit punches. There can be no dispute. Yes, he was already hurt, but he didn't go down until Peter half-shoved/half-fouled him.

Wlad landed his famous left hook late in the fight, it put Peter on wobbly legs. He didn't go down and instantly recovered.

You are incapable of properly ****ysing Wladimir. You are biased. Simple as.

And I say that as someone who greatly respects you and your opinion on pretty much every other subject.

Wlad didn't stop him in their first fight.
