Suspending AA in the USA would give him home field for the rest of the tourney

Last nights announcers indicated that in Nevada AA would suffer an automatic suspension for his intentional foul. Is this correct? Would the rest of the boxing world honor a suspension handed down by Michigan or just the other US commissions? Will the tournament play into the Michigan Commission's decision at all?

Suspension wouldn't be longer than 6 months. His next fight is against Froch anyway, so it wouldn't be in the US. Shouldn't affect anything.

OK. Thanks. So a Michigan suspension would mean nothing elsewhere then. Marg got a year so I thought it could be longer. Basically Michigan could suspend him to show their 'teeth' and it means nothing....

The only thing this tourney has proven is that home cooking is good for the boxer. 100% hometown wins so far.
